The Calgary Herald (Alberta)

November 21, 2016 Monday
Early Edition

A new look for your herald

SECTION: CITY; Pg. A2
LENGTH: 235 words

Today, we're launching a refocused print edition of the Calgary Herald that will move the majority of our local
reporting to the A section.
We'll be sharing the best of Postmedia content from across the country in the other sections, so you will see more from
our stable of award-winning national writers.
The changes mean:
Your favourite Herald writers and columnists in City news and Business will appear in the front section of the edition.
At the same time, our editorial/opinion page moves to the back of the National Post section, where local editorials,
letters and commentaries will still appear, along with national columnists from Postmedia.
There are no changes to the comics and puzzles pages.
Starting later this month, the Sports section will contain a reduced package of sports statistics, reflecting the fact that
most sports fans use digital devices to get real-time game results.
Local arts, entertainment and lifestyle features will appear in the You section on Thursdays and Saturdays, and in
Weekend Life on
Saturdays. The rest of the week, breaking arts news will appear in the A section, alongside other local news.
These modifications will allow us to focus our coverage more on local news both in print and online. They also reflect
the shift in the way readers access our news and information, which is via our website and mobile app.
