A Pattern Prayer

Now, lets proclaim together Dereks powerful prayer:

Almighty, God, our Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed by His blood, committed to serve and follow
Him. We come to You as Your believing people, Your representatives in this
earth, the agents of Your government in the earth.
We lift up to You this nation of ours, the United States. We thank You
for the many centuries of special grace and mercy that Youve granted to
this nation. We thank You for the godly seeds that have been sown over
the centuries by men of faith who have followed in Your footsteps,
labored, sacrificed, prayed and given for Your kingdom. Lord, we do not
desire that these godly seeds shall develop into a harvest that shall be
reaped by the enemy. But we ask You to extend Your grace and mercy to
this nation. We ask You to send a mighty visitation of the Holy Spirit that
will overthrow the strongholds of Satan and uplift and glorify the name of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask You for a mighty floodtide of spiritual revival that will sweep
across this nation, casting down everything that opposes itself against
the knowledge of God. We commit to You now specifically the forthcoming
elections, with all the political processes involved. We take our stand in
Jesus name against every satanic principality and power that would seek
to exercise control in these elections. We break their power, we release
the elective and the governmental processes from their control, and we
put them in Your hand. We pray that You will guide and overrulethat You
will raise up the men and the women of Your choice, and that You will put
down those who will oppose and stand against Your purposes. We ask You
to bring Your purposes to fulfillment in this nation.
Lord, we do believe that You have a special destiny for the United
Statesand we pray that nothing that Satan will do will be able to hinder
that destiny. We also pray for the relationship of the United States to
Israelthat You will keep Your hand upon that relationship. Please guide
and overrule so that this nation will not turn against Israel or take its
stand amongst the enemies of Israel, but that You will graciously use this
nation continually to support and uphold Your people, Israel, and their
State.
Lord, we ask all these things, believing them to be Your will, believing

them to be for Your glory, in the precious all-prevailing name of Jesus

Christ, Your Son, our Savior. Amen.

Lord, I ask You now to help me identify any hidden areas of injury within my heart
and my spirit. I may think I know what they are. But You are the One who really
knows. Please show them to me.
In response, I bring You those injuriesthe ones I know about as well as the
ones still hidden from my awareness. Like Simeon, I am waiting and longing for the
Consolation of Israel. I am crying out to You for help, Lord Jesus.
You alone are the One who can heal my inner hurts. You alone can sort out the
confusion and disappointment swirling around in me because of the wounds life has
inflicted upon me.
I come to You now, Lord Jesus, my Consoler. I place my heart in Your hands for
the comfort, healing and consolation I need. Amen.

Lord, I admit that I am tired. I am exhausted by the circumstances of life and the
situations I have been facing. I need Your strength, and I call out to You for help. I
am asking You now to provide Your energy and power for my life.
You are the One Who never grows weary. You are the everlasting God, the
LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth. You neither faint nor grow weary. Your
resources are eternal and inexhaustible. So I come to you, Lord.
In addition, I want to obey the instruction You issued, Lord Jesus, for me to
come to You. Truly, I am weary and heavy-laden, and I need Your rest. As You
said, I will take the step to put on Your yoke and learn from You. Your yoke is easy
and Your burden is light; and I will find the rest I need for my soul in You.
In my weak and weary condition, I look to You for strength. I exchange my
weakness for Your power. I place myself in Your hands, for You are the One who
gives strength to the weary. Amen

Lord, I believe that Your declaration to Moses applies to me as well: I know you by
name, and you have also found grace in My sight. Even though I may not always
see the evidence of this truth in everyday life, I choose to declare it as an
expression of my confidence in Your power and faithfulness.

Father, You love me as Your child, and You know me as one of Your own. In
addition to knowing me intimately, You also desire to pour out Your continued
blessing, grace and favor upon me. Your presence is my greatest assurance of Your
goodwill toward me.
Lord Jesus, You know me as one of Your sheep, and I know You as my faithful
Shepherd. You are always watching over me, protecting me, and caring for every
detail of my life. Whenever You call to me, I will respond in obedience to Your
voice.
I am honored that You know me by name, and I marvel that Your presence is
with me always. Thank You for this most wonderful demonstration of Your grace
and favorYour very presence with me. Amen.

To be honest, Lord, I feel like I could say with Peter: Ive toiled all night
and caught nothing. The struggle I face has not yielded to my best efforts
to pray, to work and to trust. But I hear You saying, Let down your nets for
a catch. Here is my response: Because You say so, Ill do it. At Your word,
Ill give it another shot.
Lord Jesus, I place this stubborn situation in Your hands, and I proclaim
my trust in You. I believe You can bring forth a miracle. I believe You can
produce a moment of breakthrough.
I choose to listen to Your voice rather than the nagging thoughts that
drag me down. I hear You saying, Dont be afraid; believe in Me. Lord, I
will not be gripped by fear any longer. I believe in You and Your power to
bring life and victory out of this present circumstance.
Even though it seems too far gone for any hope of repair by human
standards, You can touch it with Your miraculous power and bring forth life.
I give it to you nowtrusting You for the breakthrough I need. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I hear and receive the promise You made to Your disciplesthat
You have given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us.
I take You at Your word when You say by any means. Your promise of
protection is both definitive and comprehensive, ruling out every avenue of
attack the enemy would use to hurt me or my family as we serve You. I
gladly receive that promise from You.
To be honest, Lord, I feel like the person who said to You, Lord, I
believe. Help my unbelief. Strengthen me, Jesus, to stand in this promise.
Help me to apply it in my life, reinforcing my faith in what You have said
with regular proclamations from Your Word. Truths like Isaiah 54:17: No
weapon formed against me shall prosper. this is my heritage as a servant
of the LORD. Truths like Psalm 91:10: No evil shall befall me, nor shall any
plague come near my dwelling.
This day, I declare my trust in the promise of Your protection, Lord
Jesus. I make my proclamation in faith: Nothing shall by any means hurt
me. Amen.
Abba, I see clearly from Your Word that You are indeed my Father. I know as well
that Jesus Christ came to this earth to reveal You in that role to all who believe in
Him. I dont know why there is a barrier for me to understand this and flow in it,
but there is.
With this prayer and proclamation, I step by faith into a new depth in my
relationship with You. I affirm that You are my loving heavenly Father. You have
received me as Your child and You love me deeply. Because of Your love for me,
You have provided everything I needspiritually and physically. You delight in
caring for me in every aspect of my life.
I release myself into Your hands, asking for Your help in removing any obstacles

that block my way to knowing You in a deeper way. I open my heart to you, Abba.
Thank you for being my loving Father. Amen.
Lord, I have asked You many times to help me be a reliable witness for You. I
believe You have just showed me one way to shine for You.
Father, I am asking specifically that You will help me to carry the same attitude
that Jesus, Your precious Son, carried with Him throughout His life. Make me like
Hima servant to all, doing everything You asked of Him without grumbling or
arguing.
With this prayer, I am asking You to pour out Your grace and help in my life,
enabling me to respond to this simple yet profoundly difficult mandate from Your
Word. Lord, I commit myselfwith Your helpto do every task placed before me
without complaining, without protesting, and without hesitating in my obedience.
Father, I believe that if You will help me to do this successfully, I will stand out
from the crowd, shining as a light in a crooked generation. Help me glorify Your
name through this one way to shine. Amen.
