Im Free
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
Dont grieve for me, for now Im free.
Im following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found the peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My lifes been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Dont lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

Celebration of Life
Anthony Isaiah Green, age 18, passed away on Friday, November 18,
2016. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 30, 1997, he was the
beloved son of Wayne Green and Kristle Gray. Anthony was
christened at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of
Rev. Taylor T. Thompson, and at age twelve, Anthony was
confirmed by Rev. Dr. Frederick A. Wright, Sr., Pastor of Quinn
Chapel.
He was educated through Winton Woods City Schools and graduated
from Winton Woods High School in 2016.
Anthony's life led him in many directions. He had a smile that would
light a whole room! If you were considered his friend - it was for
life. He loved building things, skateboarding, robotics, music,
burning CDs and animals. Anthony also had a love for nature,
specifically, the woods which provided a calming atmosphere for
him to think and listen to his music.
Anthony was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, James
Gray, great-grandmother, Ruth Gray, and his uncle, Nathan Gray.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, sister, Regina Brown,
brother, William Jones, grandfather, Reginald Gray, grandmother,
Cheryl (Walt) Walker, great-grandmother, Nelle Drake, and many
other relatives and friends. His constant companion, his dog "Spike"
who spoke to Anthony's compassion and his spirit persuasiveness
(Spike was a rescued dog who was only supposed to stay for a few
days which grew into four years).
How'd he do it?
Simple..........."Come on Grandpa It's just a few days I promise!
