How can a Laboratory help you to save money and bring reputation?
Once your in-house lab is accredited on the ISO 17025, you are authorized to
conduct commercial test report at your own premises rather than submitting
to a third party lab subject to nomination from your customer. Generally your
customer would nominate internal lab facility when your Lab has the
accreditation on ISO 17025 that is responsibility of Peerless to get you things
done.
Once your lab is nominated by a customer to carry out tests at your own
facility, you are not required to send the test sample to a third party, so you
would save your cost of testing which is in general 10 report every day
equivalent to USD 50/ report which is accumulated to a monthly cost of USD
12,500 and a yearly savings would be USD 1.5 Lacs.
Since this lab is at your own premises, thus you get benefit of faster
turnaround time for each test and getting the recommendation of the next
steps of quality improvement. Such as, you may start looking onto quality
aspects on various parameters from the raw materials, fabrics, pre-production
and production which will provide you to take immediate corrective/
preventive actions at the initial stage on any failure issues raised on the
performance or regulatory test parameter.
