See originally I built these exciting freedom businesses so I could break
away from my "Day Job Of Doom" in corporate accounting.

that a cubicle life of doom just wasnt for me.
I took off to Hollywood, Los Angeles to chase the Freedom Dream.

A very small community of people who were managing multi million
dollar operations from the road whilst seeing the world and chasing
adventures.
Lets be honest here I was absolutely mind-blowingly buzzing when this
lifestyle was revealed to me.

I jokingly nicknamed them The Secret Society and was lucky enough to
have them show me the ropes where I too started traveling the world for
years on end... just opening up my email and skype for a couple of hours
each day whilst I ran around and explored and enjoyed all the places,
people and adventures the world had to offer me.
I felt like James Bond or Jason Bourne with my new Secret Society friends
from all parts of the globe.

We were beating the system!

And I was having more fun than id ever had in my entire life.
I still vividly remember when I got my very first online sale.
Let me tell you - Nothing beats the feeling of sitting in a cafe in Paris or
landing from a flight, looking at your phone and seeing that youve just
made a bunch of sales online.

To achieve your perfect freedom day... we first need to get your freedom
business machine setup and im going to illustrate it with one of the
several freedom businesses Ive personally built.
Lets look at it here right now I actually sold this one a few years ago
which is something you can do as well.

This is our blueprint or our freedom machine Each of these little

circles represents a component within your freedom business machine.
Lets start with the ONE KEY FAN:
Your ONE KEY FAN is the typical customer who we are going to be finding,
targeting and selling a whole heap of stuff to.
We call them "One Key Fans" because, with the right marketing in this
blueprint, these are the people that are going to love every single product
you release. They will be your massive fans.
We have a whole checklist/process about how we find and build your one
key fan and its a really important step.
Most businesses dont take the time to profile or build their ideal
customer and target which is what we need when we start generating
traffic.

Now for this first One Key Fan phase of the Blueprint: I identified that
People with websites selling a product or service had trouble
presenting their products and standing out more online.
So I did some research and found that web video like the below was
helping people convert and sell their products much better than just a site
with no video.

Obviously theres some research and deeper stuff involved in our

One Key Fan system but for the sake of this fast example lets say
I found a guy named Brian who has a website that he wants to increase his
sales on.
Brian is our targeted ONE KEY FAN. And his problem is he needs more
sales on his website.

And this is where we come to the second phase on the formula:

Positioning & Branding

Ever notice how some products come into a market and absolutely
dominate seemingly out of nowhere?
Take Apple for example, I love apple products but plenty of people like PC
and android as well.
They are polarising brands because of well structured POSITIONING AND
BRANDING.
These are techniques not just for the big companies but for your online
business as well.

Apple positions itself as the well designed easy to use technology and PC
is the more technical persons dream.
This branding and positioning creates what we call product RESONANCE.

Now back to our online business example - We need to create a brand and
position it in the market so it resonates with Brian and all the other
Brians in the world.
Again, this involves a whole stack of things like logo and web design, the
pricing of the product and also a very important point: the sales copy.
All these elements should work together to create RESONANCE. So, we
have our one key fan or person with a problem, Brian; and in this part we
package up a product for him that solves the problem. In this phase I
identified 3 valuable skills to produce the perfect product for Brian.

All these skills combine to form a great product for Brian:

The Killer Sales Video - hence why we called it Samurai Sales Videos
I hope you are following me here because the whole process is acutally
pretty fun hey ?
See we are actually combining or packaging these three skills into an
entirely new product thats targeted right at the person we are selling to.
When you package different skills or products like this you can create
products worth a lot of money.
I mean lets be honest who wants to sell a $27 ebook
when you can sell a $499 video?
After we package we need to POSITION this new product as the absolute
PREMIUM OR BEST in the market.
This is where most online marketers fail as well. Theres a whole art and
science to this which you will learn. Things like choosing a logo, the
colours on your site, and all your marketing material.
If I was to use cars as an example, we want to position you as the
FERRARI in the marketplace as opposed to the FORD.
So we can charge an absolute premium and become the leader right from
the very start, blowing your competition out of the water.

Now at this stage I have to tell you that it sounds like a lot of work but
actually its quite easy - We will show you how to outsource all the
production grunt work for your product, website, logo and everything else
to highly skilled freelance workers online, for an absolute fraction of the
price you would have paid a little while ago.
So now that we have our great product, brand and website we need to
move on to the next 2 parts.
Driving traffic and the exposure/experience phase: This is when a one key
fan first hears about or sees your product or service.
The first stage here is that you need to drive TRAFFIC to your website.
This could be a paid Facebook or Google Adwords campaign or a number
of other strategies (like affiliates and partnerships) that we use to
generate free traffic to your website.

Now dont worry - we have the exact copy and paste, proven templates
and checklists for you to be able to do this section and setup your first
marketing and traffic campaigns within 24 hours!
By exposure and experience we mean what happens when a brand new
potential customer or 1KF hits your website or finds out about you
what is the EXPERIENCE they get that leads them to pulling out their
wallet and buying from you online?
This will differ depending on the type of product you are offering if its a
physical product, information product or online product like Samurai
Sales Videos.
On Day 3 of this bootcamp - ill help you choose the exact right type of
freedom business idea for you.

In Samurai though, the first thing you see when you are exposed to the
website is the highly targeted sales video.
You can also see we have highly targeted sales copy with a sales video and
also a testimonial.
None of this Exposure/Experience stuff is random. All of these elements
are in certain places because we have tested them and they have proved to
convert better than other options.
This is called Split testing and Conversion optimisation - You may have
heard these terms before if youve seen anything on online marketing.
More on this later.

This is where the R or RELATIONSHIP BUILDING comes in.

You build a relationship online with your one key fan in order to build
trust and connection - so that they actually listen to what you have to say
and then buy your products.
Depending on the product and the price you may build enough of a
relationship with a simple sales video like this OR you may have to
capture and email address and build a relationship over time.
Below is an example of an email capture page we built for a client.

You can see here we have a strong headline and sales copy, where we are
giving away a free guide. Giving away free stuff is an awesome way to do
the R/Relationship build phase.
Again though, it comes down to the type of product youre offering.
All of these are designed to provide an experience then build a
relationship with the target one key fan, lets look at Samurai.
In this case all the Brians of the world that land here get the relationship
from the Sales Video and Sales Copy.

When we tested it we found this was

enough to get our Brian One Key
Fans to click the buy now button.
Once you have all these elements
setup and turn on your traffic...
it gets really exciting at this
stage because you start making your
first sales and seeing that freedom
income hit your bank account! Like
I said - you will never ever forget
your first freedom business sales!
These S/A components on the
side stand for Sale or Action.

This is making the one key fan take an action like fill out a survey or refer
you to a friend.
You can make one sale like in the case of Samurai.
Or you can setup a whole Sales funnel where people are automatically
sold multiple products from you over a period of time.
Heres the thing though: Something massive shifts inside you when you
get your very first sale in your Freedom business - its confirmation that
you can actually do this and youll never EVER look back.

Here at Freedom Studios and in the Secret Society Mastermind training

program we try to get you to this phase as fast as possible and it normally
happens within the first 8 to 12 weeks from starting up with absolutely no
knowledge at all.
Thats where most people quit their day job of doom or start hitting the
road and travelling whilst moving on to the final phases of Freedom
Business which is really exciting: Automation.

This means setting up your business

so it runs pretty much on autopilot.

Using the Samurai Sales video example, lets look at the whole anatomy of
the Freedom Business here: What we did in this Automation phase was
put a team in place to handle all the working parts of the business.
Firstly, there was a script writer in the UKand she followed a formula I
gave her to write all the scripts for the videos.
Then there is the audio recording guys for the voiceovers
- I found them in Australia, the US and the UK
Then I had 2 Video guys handling the animation.
One in the Ukraine and another in Chile.
Overseeing all this I had a personal assistant in the phillipines handling
each video project from start to finish which meant I didnt even have to
look at a video - as soon as a sale was made my Freedom Team produced
the goods and it went to the happy client.

I was off enjoying my travels around the world.

Now again - all this may seem a little bit daunting but if you are following
me so far - the actual steps to doing this stuff are really really simple and
cheap.
We paid this team on a per project basis which means that I only paid
them if we made money.
All this stuff is built into the fomula and will save you years of business
building experience.

So there you have it, Day 1 of the Freedom Business Bootcamp.

This was a very basic overview of our six step formula to building a
