The following sighting accounts are from yours truly who witnessed it from the balcony of my unit
in Guildford, NSW at approx. 9.30pm Sunday 07 December 2008 and at approx 10pm Monday 15
December 2008.
Sunday 7 December 2008
I was watching television in the lounge room when I looked out the window and I saw this streak of
light hovering in the sky.
I stepped out onto the balcony to get a better view. My balcony faces towards the North, and
being on higher ground I have an unobstructed view of the sky.
Being night time it is difficult to determine how far away this light was. However, I am certain it
was some distance away.
Although the location of this light was not very high in the sky, it is however well above the tree line
/ horizon so this light could not have been caused by buildings or from cars or from anything
coming from the ground.
This light has a light golden glow. It is one continuous unbroken streak of light. I estimated the
length of this light would be about 4 passenger planes placed end on end.
This light remained hovering in the sky for approx. 1 minute before it began to move, it appeared
to be turning, moving towards the east. As this happened, this light began to fade away.
Seconds later, 2 red glows of light appeared just to the left of where the streak of light was before.
I estimated the length of the red glow would be that of a passenger plane and the height would be
2 passenger planes on top of each other. The distance between the 2 lights would be at least 1
passenger plane length apart.
The 2 red glows began to move in a westerly direction. The speed they travelled was constant
and the distance between each light did not changed at any time. I continued to see these lights
travelling together in uniform, before eventually they disappeared below the tree line.
Monday 15 December 2008

From the balcony of my unit I saw a red glow hovering over the sky, at about the same location to
my previous sighting. My first impression was that of the flood lights of a police helicopter,
however I have never since one that is red in colour. All through this experience this red glow
remained stationery. At first the glow just stayed hovered in the sky. Then, it began to blink.
It started with 2 quick blinks in succession, then paused for a second, then 2 blinks in succession.
This continued for 15 to 20 seconds. Then the sequence changed; single blink with 1.5 seconds
pause between blinks. This continued for 15 to 20 seconds. Then sequence changed once again;
single blink with .5 second pause. This too continued for 15 to 20 seconds. Then the three
sequences are repeated.
The blinking eventually stopped and moments later the glow slowly faded away.

US pilot told to shoot down UFO

An American jet fighter pilot has spoken of the day he was scrambled to try to shoot down a UFO
in British airspace more than 50 years ago. Lieutenant Milton Torres was based in Britain on May
20, 1957 when he received the order: get up there, arm all weapons and fire on sight.
He climbed into his Sabre jet, took off from a Royal Air Force base in Kent and headed east,
spotting on his radar the blip that his superiors had judged to be hostile and probably Russian .
The dot indicated an object about the size of a B52 bomber about 24km away and Torres set a
course, rockets at the ready, to catch it. But the aircraft vanished. The blip on the radar was gone
too. Torres has finally spoken of his top secret mission following the declassification of Ministry of
Defence files, cited by The Times newspaper, that relate to reported incidents of unidentified flying
objects in British airspace.
Torres, now 77, told The Times that the day after he was scrambled from the RAF base he
received a visit from an American in a trench coat who waved a National Security Agency identity
card at him and warned him that, if he ever revealed what had happened, he would never fly
again. He took the warning to heart and said nothing until 1988 when, through a solicitor with an
interest in ufology, he sent the Ministry of Defence a report giving a full account of the incident.
That narrative has now been released by Britain's National Archives.
"I shall never forget it, and for the last 50 years I have been waiting for an explanation, but I've
never had one," he told The Times. "On that night I was ordered to open fire even before I had
taken off. That had never happened before. "I was ready to hit the target with all 24 rockets: it
would have been like buckshot out of a shotgun. I asked for authentication of the order to fire and I
received it."
Neither Torres, who was 24 at the time, nor the pilot of a second Sabre flying behind, actually saw
what was making the strong blip on their radars. Since the incident, Torres has become more
convinced that the object, travelling at speed and performing manoeuvres beyond the capability of
any known aircraft at that time, was an alien UFO. "The blip was burning a hole in the radar with
its incredible intensity. It was similar to a blip I had received from B52s and seemed to be a
magnet of light. It had the proportions of a flying aircraft carrier," he wrote, according to The Times.
But David Clarke, a UFO expert and lecturer in journalism at Sheffield Hallam University, has
offered an alternative explanation.
He said that in the 1960s it emerged that the CIA had been engaged in a secret project
codenamed Palladium, in which advanced equipment was used to create simulated radar blips
close to Soviet airspace. Dr Clarke told The Times that he thought it was linked to clandestine
flights over the Soviet Union of the American U2 spy plane. But he added, "This doesn't explain
why Milton Torres was scrambled and ordered to open fire".

I was travelling to work this morning on Thursday the 27. November 2008 and saw a strange Star.
I live just outside of Narrabri 2390 NSW and when I went to work this morning at 4.15 am after rain
that night/Morning you could see a lot of stars in the sky. I only live 8 km out of town and as I was
travelling along Kaputar Road I watched the stars and there was a starI thought it was a little bit
out of shape, more like oval with andlight where like a stripe and I saw that for about 2 km and
then it come closer(me travelling) I still look above and it was a Egg shaped thing with dull lights
flashing and I was to scared to pull up and have a look.Now.was there anywhere maybe a
Airship around (Zeppelin) maybe you could find outI was really scaredIf somebody would
have been with meOK I would of stopped but not by my selves.It did not move and it also was
the size of an egg with 3 dull lightflashing ...there was no Wires going across the road because
when I come back from work at 7 am I gone home , turned around and had a good look whether
there was something which would reflected..but no, I seen this morning that thing for a few
minutes until I come closerit just was sitting in the skythats why I ask could you find out for
me in case of a Airship?

My wife, daughter and I live in Strathfield, Sydney and on Thursday 6/11/08 at 8:37 pm, the three
of us spotted a UFO going from south to north (we were looking west and the object was at an
angle of about 50).
It was a very bright and round white light - about twice the size of Jupiter at its brightest and
completely silent. It didnt have any flashing lights like aeroplanes do and definitely wasnt
travelling around any of the commercial flights paths that we see. We observed it for 2-3 minutes
and then, in the space of about 2 seconds, the light dimmed to nothing and we could no longer
see it.
We didnt get a chance to take any photos because we were so excited at having seen one for the
first time. Hopefully there are others who saw it, to confirm the sighting for you.

Hello, I recently came across a story about Dubbo and UFO's on this site
http://www.paranormalnews.com/article.asp?articleID=528 It has sparked my interest in sharing a
story with you though I think it happened when I was under the age of 12, so around 2002 or
before. Id also like to remain anonymous and simply share this story with you for your own
interest.
I can remember driving in the car with my mother. I was in the back seat. We were driving along
Joira Road which is on the outskirts of Dubbo just off the Minore Road heading towards
Narromine. I was looking out the window when i noticed three bright orange objects flying one
above each other, and I can specifically remember one going a little bit faster then the others.
From my perspective they were close to the ground, flying very fast and very close. Id never seen
anything like that before, and I havent seen anything similar since. The Dubbo airport is in that
direction which could offer a source of explanation.

While at work in a vehicle in streets of Maryborough, Victoria. At approximately 0050 hrs on
27.09.08 I observed very large slow moving object, possibly many small objects in close vicinity.
At first it appeared to be light aircraft passing over town showing a single white light. Then a very
long single beam of tapering light emitted from the white spot. The beam was very long across the
sky and fairly narrow. I had time to turn the corner, stop, turnoff lights and motor and exit vehicle.
Nil sound. Speed constant, too slow for meteor, unless it was massive and a long way out. I didn't
appear to be burning up. I watched the object travel out of sight below the roof tops of houses in
the street. Nil spark shower or other varying lights emitted. Travelling SSE, roughly in the direction
of Melbourne approximately 30 degrees above the horizon. Corroborated by colleague in vehicle
with me.

The UFO hotline went crazy in the early hours of Saturday morning time was 1245 hrs. 14 people
rang in to say they were watching a UFO with a tail flying low across the sky with no sound.
The same description was reported in Victoria through South Australia and in the outback town of
Coober Pedy. Don't worry investigators I returned all calls. Unfortunately and I am quite sure,
most saw Proton-K Stage 4 re-entry at 1245hrs on 27th September 08 AU time. If you click on
the link and you will see its flight path over Australia. When I mentioned space junk most said no
way.

I am reporting of my observation of a possible UFO sighting while travelling over Gladesville
Bridge on my way to swimming training this morning which I have done for many years, 3
mornings a week. I saw to my right looking towards Harbour Bridge/ Nth Sydney area I saw 2
glowing objects travelling very fast horizontally @ 45 deg angle with each other. My first thoughts
were falling star, then sunrise reflecting on satellites, then airplanes, then helicopters. I wound
down my window as I thought it could also be lights reflecting on the glass or if helicopters I would
hear the noise.
I heard nothing and the lights were still there travelling in the same direction very fast. After ruling
out (mainly because of the horizontal direction & the speed) all the above I just couldn't believe the
alternatives a fair dinkum UFO sighting. I just watched while going over the bridge the 2 lights
speed off in the distance over towards the Hills area, shaking my head in disbelief.

My husband, 13 year old son and I were travelling over the Captain Cook Bridge Taren Point,
Sydney heading south towards our home at Lilli Pilli at approximately 8.35pm on Saturday 27th
September, 2008. We saw 4 lights to the left of us which were shining in the sky. Two of these
lights moved towards each other and the other two were stationery on the outer. A car heading in
the same direction as us pulled over and stopped presumably to look at it. There were a number
of cars heading in both directions. Has anyone else reported the sighting and is there an
explanation for lights in that area last night?

I am a UFO sceptic however my wife and I saw a strange flying object this afternoon at Bonville,
NSW, on Friday 26th Sept, 2008 at approx 5:00 pm. Clear sky with no cloud. We are wildlife
carers and have a young Wood Duck in our care that was looking up at something above that we
though may be a hawk or eagle so both of us looked up to see a strange shining object that was
moving quite fast through the sky. I first thought it was just a high plane in the sky however it was
very shiny and appeared to have two sets of wings with both long front and rear sections. It was
heading in a south westerly direction. There was no sound at all and the speed at which it moved
was far quicker than I have seen with any plane I have ever seen before. We both have good
eyesight and not drinking at the time. Maybe some type of military plane?

February Public Meeting & AGM

Presidents Report for year ending December 2008
After a challenging 2006 and 2007, UFO Research (NSW) Inc. got on track in
2008. Our membership stayed around the 35 mark. We started 2008 with a talk
by Rob TILLEY of the Australian Para-Psychology Association, with a talk on the
Psychology of ET Contact. Rob gave a very informative and entertaining
delivery.
In April we were lucky to have Mary RODWELL of ACERN W.A. and Suzy
HANSEN of UFOCUS NZ to give updates on their research.
Our member Flor AMANOWICZ gave a presentation in June on her NEXUS
Conference talk in 2007, and gave us some insights into her experiences and
journeys here in Australia and in South America.
Our member John SMYTH gave an excellent presentation at our August meeting
on Some communications with and quotes from Extra Terrestrials.
We were also very fortunate to have Jamie LEONARDA, a former member of UFO
Research (NSW), documentary maker and media presenter, film part of our
August meeting.
Jamie has embarked on a project to make a documentary on the UFO subject as it
is now and how peoples experiences in this phenomenon have affected their
lives. We will give Jamie every support for his project.
Also at the August meeting yours truly gave a talk on her brothers sighting and
close encounter with a UFO when he was a young Jackeroo in Moree in 19681969. This was supported by a presentation by Judy DARGAN with some of her
experiences in the Moree area and the Northern Territory in the early 1970s.
Jason COWLAND gave us a review of Stanton FRIEDMANs latest book at our
October meeting followed by a lively discussion.
We have tried to give updated DVD and video presentations during the year and
welcome members and guests to the meetings to speak about their personal
experiences.
The group was deeply saddened with the sudden passing away of our long time
member Pam BOYNE in 2008. A large number of our members attended her
funeral. She will be greatly missed.
As always I extend my heart felt thanks to all my hard working committee.
Anthony CLARKE has done a great job getting us an ABN number and updating
us with the taxation department. William JOHNSON has been a great help to
myself and the organisation as our public officer and the editor of our
newsletter.
Many thanks again to Michael HANDLEY with all his great legal advice. Hugh
MULGREW our great techno who ensures we have great viewing of materials
from our guest speakers and our DVD presentations.
Many thanks for the support as always of Peter OBRIEN, Claudea DONLAN, and
the scribing of our secretary Joann KANDA; as well as the effervescent support
from Rex and Heather GILROY.
Also not forgetting our media representative Doug MOFFATT, who has doubled
his TV appearances this year as well as speaking on radio and speaking to local
Rotary groups.
In 2009 we will continue to expand peoples understanding of the subject,
present guest speakers and support people with projects on the subject, and
continue to let the man in the street have their say.

From 2010, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for UFO RESEARCH (NSW) INC will take place
at the first public meeting held after 30 June 2010. This means the AGM for 2010 will take

This change of date is to coincide with the financial obligations this organisation has with the
Australian Taxation Office.
A vote was carried out during the February 2009 AGM and the motion to change the date of

Declassified government files have revealed fighter jets were scrambled to intercept a UFO that was
following a Greek airline passenger jet.
In November 2007 the pilot of Olympic Airways flight 266 first spotted the UFO shortly after
taking off from Athens en route to London. The flying object was also seen by staff at Athens
airport, the pilots of two other passenger planes and people at a nearby air force base, The Sun
newspaper reports.
The breathless Greek pilot radioed the airport control tower in Athens to ask if there was
another jet close by.
"I see on my right, at approximately the same altitude, an unknown target flying from south to
east," the unnamed pilot told the control tower.
"Altitude and heading are not stable it is increasing speed headings are erratic."
The Greek air force sent two fighters to investigate the UFO, which was described as looking
like a star that moved erratically and constantly changed shape. However, it vanished into the
upper atmosphere before the fighter jet pilots could get close enough to view it.
"I can confirm the incident," an Olympic Airlines spokeswoman said.
"It is the first of its kind involving our pilots."
Greek authorities kept the close encounter secret for over a year but have now released the
documents and conversation recordings, generating huge public interest.
The UFO was not detected by radar, and Greek officials say it was probably mistaken for the
planet Venus, which can be seen in the autumn night sky.

Government of Canada Provides Open Access to UFO X-Files

Toronto Ontario Canada February 15, 2009 The Toronto Canada based independent news
agency ZlandCommunications, has learned that the Canadian government under the
leadership of the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Stephen Harper has provided open access to
approximately 9,500 UFO files. These files can be found at: Canada's UFOs: The Search for
the Unknown.
The Canadian web site states, These documents were accumulated between 1947 and the early
1980s and represent all records filed with the federal government on UFOs. There are
approximately 9,500 digitized documents in a variety of formats, including correspondence,
reports, memos and procedures. Some are specifically concerned with particular UFO sightings,
while others are more generic in nature.

April Public Meeting

The meeting commenced with a video presentation of recent television interviews by our
media liaison officer Mr Doug Moffett with the 7 Network. Once again Doug has done a
marvellous job and everyone present at the meeting was extremely pleased for Doug and
appreciates his efforts.
Vice President Mr Hugh Mulgrew presented a recent interview by him with former president
of UFO Research (NSW) Mr Paul Sowiak on the topic of UFO Investigation and the soon to be
created formal Investigation course.

Gould of Hong Kong UFO, that took place in Hong Kong in November 2008 while Mary was a
guest speaker at a lecture at the Hong Kong University.

some of my experiences from 1993 to the present, and the linking to the date 21 December 2012,
supposedly the end date to the current 4th world / age according to the ancient Mayan civilisation.

Canadian watchdog group exposes Canadian government cover-up policy

on ET/UFO sightings and landings
Exopolitics Toronto, a citizen grass-roots watchdog group based in Toronto, Canada has issued
an online report exposing the Canadian governments policy of covering up UFO and
extraterrestrial-related sightings and interactions. After studying the Canadian governments
release of 9500 files on its Archives Canada website, Exopolitics Canada concludes, Although the
UFO files compiled by high level government officials provide an interesting chronology of
Canada's accumulation of UFO sightings, many of the files also tell a dramatic story about how
high level government officials orchestrated meetings, agendas, memoranda and Ministerial letters
designed to play-down and ultimately cover-up the UFO issue with measures similar to those used
by the American government.

June Public Meeting

The main focus of the June Public Meeting held on 06 June was on the recent trip to the township of
BARRABA (north of Tamworth) by the committee members of UFO Research NSW.
Upon the invitation by the local residents UFO enthusiast, several of our committee members visited
Barraba between 22 & 25 May 2009.
It has been many years since we lasted visited Barraba, and it was a great opportunity to meet up with
some news faces as well as old ones.
During our stay there, Rex GILROY made a presentation on the ORBS phenomenon and one of his recent
sky watch trip; while yours truly made a presentation on the 21 Dec 2012 scenario. Some of our members
and the locals partake a meditation session, and an enjoyable sky watch was had by all on our last evening
there.
A 3.5 hour DVD, compiled by Hugh Mulgrew, of this trip can be obtained through Hugh. If you are

After talking with you this Morning, I realised next Monday is a public holiday, so I'll send some thoughts. I
would still like to chat sometime, to make sure you are clear from my perspective.
Firstly, let me explain the position I take on the subject of ET visitation. I believe there is a mystery. Nobody
who has looked at the best data on this subject, without prejudice, can come to any other conclusion. A
mystery requires a working hypothesis. The "Cometa Report", published July 1999 arrived to this
conclusion:
"In its conclusion, COMETA claims that the physical reality of UFOs, under control of intelligent beings, is
"quasi-certain." Only one hypothesis takes into account the available data: the hypothesis of
extraterrestrial visitors. This hypothesis is of course unproven, but has far-reaching consequences. The
goals of these alleged visitors remain unknown but must be the subject of speculations and prospective
scenarios."
This report was tabled before the French government and the committee was not made up of "UFO nuts"
as you can see below:
"The report is prefaced by General Bernard Norlain of the Air Force, former Director of IHEDN, and it
begins with a preamble by Andr Lebeau, former President of the National Center for Space Studies
(Centre National Dtudes Spatiales), or CNES, the French equivalent of NASA. The group itself, collective
author of the report, is an association of experts, many of whom are or have been auditors of IHEDN, and it
is presided over by General Denis Letty of the Air Force, former auditor (FA) of IHEDN.
Its name "COMETA" stands for "Committee for in-depth studies." A non-exhaustive list of members is given
at the beginning which is quite impressive.
It includes:
General Bruno Lemoine, of the Air Force (FA of IHEDN)

Admiral Marc Merlo, (FA of IHEDN)
Michel Algrin, Doctor in Political Sciences, attorney at law (FA of IHEDN)

The committee also expresses its gratitude to outside contributors including Jean-Jacques Vlasco, head of
SEPRA at CNES, Franois Louange, President of Fleximage, specialist in photo analysis, and General Joseph
Domange, of the Air Force, general delegate of the Association of Auditors at IHEDN."
I am of the same opinion. There is a mystery and that the ET hypothesis is the best fit, given our current
understanding of the available data.
It is generally accepted, that we are unlikely to be the only advanced technological civilisation in the
Universe. The sticking point appears to be the traversing of the immense distances involved, within a
practical time frame. Let us look therefore, at some universally accepted mainstream data. Assuming the
universe began with the "Big Bang" 13.73 million years ago, certain facts are known. The Universe may
have had the same starting point but did not cool from gaseous to solid matter at the same rate. In fact,
approx 70% of the Universe cooled into solid matter before our Solar System did. We are, in comparison, a
very new suburb. Research from the Uni of NSW by Prof Charly Lineweaver suggests that the age of other
"Goldilocks Suns" that may support Earth like planets, is on average 1.8 Billion years older that our Sun. Is
is therefore not logical to assume that other technological civilisations elsewhere in the Universe, are likely
to be many thousands of years in advance of our own planet.
Let us now view this information from an historical viewpoint. Look at the technology surrounding you,
that you use every day, one hundred years ago, all of it was impossible. The laws of physics have not
changed in one hundred years, only our understanding of these laws. If we are dealing with technological
civilisations many thousands of years in advance of our own, as is likely, then our inability to understand
the "How" is historical fact.
I have a simple formula: time relative to distance = relative technology. When giving presentations to View
clubs and alike, I offer this question to elaborate. Can you go to Rome for holidays and return to Australia
in seven days? The answer of course is yes, using the technology of 2009. Now, let me ask the same
question, using the technology of 1909, the answer of course is no. Once again I ask the same question but
this time I supply no relative technology, the answer now is unknown. We are in this same situation of not
knowing the relative technology we are dealing with. The answer to the probability of ET visitation is
unknown, not a negative nor a positive.
It is frustrating for all concerned to have a possibility without probability but alas that is where we all
stand, until further data regarding levels of technology throughout the Universe is known. It is like one
having a lottery ticket, but having no idea as the whether 100,000 tickets have been sold or just 10. One
knows they have a possibility but the probability is impossible to determine without more data being
available.
As Mr Bhathal said:
"It is risky to judge everything by our own technology,"
And as Arthur C Clarke once wrote:
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"

Report of a Strange Creature - 1975

The following is an experience sent to us by a member of the public. The writer wishes to remain
anonymous and certain details below are therefore deleted.
Hi, I've recently become interested in the UFO activities that are generating more coverage just recently
and my coming into a new field of work has brought me renewed interest into to workings of UFO's and
how they fly. As a result, some memories have flooded back of my encounter with a creature I'll never
forget, even though I tried too. This occurred some months after some UFO Crop Circles where found in
the wheat belt near town and lights in formation in the sky were often seen. I must say I did not believe in
such stuff until I saw this thing.
I have been subject to a sighting face to face of a creature back in 1975 in March or April in a western town
of (deleted). It was about 9:15 PM and I was heading back to my room behind my fathers shop after
having dinner at their house in (deleted) Street. I came up to the (deleted) Road where the (deleted) was
on the corner with it's steps to front door right on the boundary of council footpath and the side yard that
had tall whispy trees in those Cement Circles jutted down the side yard on the corner under the Street
Light positioned there.
As I came to the School fencing just past the front door, I noticed movement to my left and stopped and
turned to see a creature that had "Green Tree Frog Skin" but stood erect like a humanoid, had a skeletal
structure like a human but a head of what I can only describe as a Staffordshire bull terrier with very small
black eyes, a slit for where the mouth should be and no ears that I could see. I looked and could not see a
zipper flap as I imagined it in some sort of a green suit but it looked like skin from a tree frog to me. When I
first saw it, it was crouched down with its head up against the brick wall as if to listen inside the (deleted).
It noticed me and stood up, about 5 foot tall as I was 6 foot then. We looked at each other for what
seemed like 5 minutes or so, (which turned out to be something like 1 & 1/2hours as it was near 11 pm
when I got back to my room. It had 3 stumpy fingers and 3 chicken type toes on each foot but was funny
shaped, like a reptile.
The thing then walked into the bush closest to us both, about 6 foot away and disappeared into it. I was
surprised at this as I could see right through this bush and it did not go through it, just into it and then
vanished.
Some weeks after that, I had some very realistic dreams that were like I was awake, but could not open my
eyes. As if some force was on me to keep them closed no matter how much I wanted to open them.
(Deleted) so please understand I'd like this whole thing to be confidential as most people think we are
kooks or crazy when discussing these things. I know what I felt and did not have a drinking or drug
influence then either so hallucination is not an answer. I also had some marks on my arms that won't heal
and still to this day they are still there like indentations in my skin.
I have only recently had flashes of what I can only describe as being probed and prodded by something
back 34 yrs ago. Also, ever since then, I've had extra sensory abilities now and then which defies logic. I
knew of the Asteroid a few yrs ago that nearly hit earth two weeks before it was mentioned by anyone on
the news or elsewhere. I pick up things from people and have had the ability to see aura's since seeing this
thing. I think I need to be hypnotised to recount the actual and factual account of what happened that
night to explain the missing time and other things that I may have been subjected to.

* Russian Navy UFO Records Say Aliens Love Oceans

The Russian navy has declassified its records of encounters with unidentified objects technologically
surpassing anything humanity ever built, reports Svobodnaya Pressa news website. The records dating
back to soviet times were compiled by a special navy group collecting reports of unexplained incidents
delivered by submarines and military ships. The group was headed by deputy Navy commander Admiral
Nikolay Smirnov, and the documents reveal numerous cases of possible UFO encounters, the website says.
Vladimir Azhazha, former navy officer and a famous Russian UFO researcher, says the materials are of
great value.
Fifty percent of UFO encounters are connected with oceans. Fifteen more with lakes. So UFOs tend to
stick to the water, he said. On one occasion a nuclear submarine, which was on a combat mission in the
Pacific Ocean, detected six unknown objects. After the crew failed to leave behind their pursuers by
maneuvering, the captain ordered to surface. The objects followed suit, took to the air, and flew away.
Many mysterious events happened in the region of Bermuda Triangle, recalls retired submarine commander
Rear Admiral Yury Beketov. Instruments malfunctioned with no apparent reason or detected strong
interference. The former navy officer says this could be deliberate disruption by UFOs.
On several occasions the instruments gave reading of material objects moving at incredible speed.
Calculations showed speeds of about 230 knots, of 400 kph. Speeding so fast is a challenge even on the
surface. But water resistance is much higher. It was like the objects defied the laws of physics. Theres only
one explanation: the creatures who built them far surpass us in development, Beketov said.
Navy intelligence veteran, Captain 1st rank Igor Barklay comments:
Ocean UFOs often show up wherever our or NATOs fleets concentrate. Near Bahamas, Bermudas, Puerto
Rico. They are most often seen in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean, in the southern part of the
Bermuda Triangle, and also in the Caribbean Sea.
Another place where people often report UFO encounters is Russias Lake Baikal, the deepest fresh water
body in the world. Fishermen tell of powerful lights coming from the deep and objects flying up from the
water.
In one case in 1982 a group of military divers training at Baikal spotted a group of humanoid creatures
dressed in silvery suits. The encounter happened at a depth of 50 meters, and the divers tried to catch the
strangers. Three of the seven men died, while four others were severely injured.
I think about underwater bases and say: why not? Nothing should be discarded, says Vladimir Azhazha.
Skepticism is the easiest way: believe nothing, do nothing. People rarely visit great depths. So its very
important to analyze what they encounter there.

Just thought someone might be interested in a sighting my wife and I had on Tuesday night at 7.30pm at
McGraths Hill.
We observed a triangular object hovering approx 10 - 15m high. It had a solid white light on the tip of each
corner and a flashing red light on 1 side. We were able to drive very close to it (almost directly underneath), it
made very little noise and started slowly heading North West (towards Windsor) as we got close. We
followed it as it built up speed up to about 100kph and watched as it crossed over the Windsor bypass road
and dropped out of site in the distance.
My first reaction was that I was viewing some sort of fantastic new technology being tested from the
Richmond RAAF base. The way the lights were laid out reminded me very much of a plane, mounted on
each extreme for safety. The shape was very flat though, it didn't look like much room if it were manned. I
have no explanation for the nature of it's movements, the way it hovered almost silently and then moved
away.
2 weeks earlier we were driving through the same area at night and my wife commented on seeing lights in
the sky not moving that she never remembered seeing before. I assumed they were on top of some sort of
tower but she insisted they appeared to be floating. The next time we went past in the daytime we checked
for but couldn't find any tower they could have been coming from. When she saw the more recent lights she
said "look there are those lights again but they are in another place, they are definitely floating". When we
saw the opportunity for a closer look we took it.
Q: Is it possible for both you and your wife to do a simple sketch of this object and scan then send it to us as
an email attachment?
A: We don't have a scanner, but there wouldn't be much to draw anyway. I could only make out the outline,
there wasn't much light. I can just say that from underneath it was an equilateral triangle and from the side it
looked to be quite flat, not totally flat but streamline.
Q: You say you believe it was hovering about 10-15M above the ground, how close to you think you got to it?
A: The same, 10-15m. We stopped the car very close to being directly underneath. It was hovering
completely motionless until we got close and it started moving very slowly and passed over us.
Q: How large do you think it was (on the sketch estimate the dimensions)?
A: Each side of the triangle could have been 3-6m. My first impression was closer to 3m.
Q: You describe it having a white light at each point of the triangle, how was the red light manifest? Was it
underneath in the centre for example?
A: I can only say that I could clearly see the 3 white lights but not directly see the red light. Just the glow of a
flashing light. It was probably mounted on top somewhere.
Q: It is getting quite dark at 7:30pm these days - given the conditions and time what colour would you say
the object was?
A: No idea except to say it wasn't white or any other light or bright colour. It could have been any other colour
and it would have been impossible to tell.
Q: We know that there are UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) in use by the military and security
establishments, these are by their nature small and relatively quiet. Would this object fit this description?
A: Yes, that was and is my assumption, but I still draw a complete blank as to how something could move
like that. It hovered completely stationary right until we got close to it although it didn't seem to have any
concern of being seen. I watched as it flew along side the overpass then crossed over the overpass and
dropped below the level of the road and sped off. It's light would have been in plain view of several other
vehicles. It made almost no noise except for a slight humming. There was no downward pressure of air and
no sound of engines as it gained momentum. It didn't accelerate rapidly at all, it drifted over us very slowly
maybe less than 5kph and it would have taken maybe 15 sec for it to reach 80-100kph.
I think i'll make sure Ive got a video camera next time I go past there at night.

- I recently spotted a silver ball UFO hovering over Tasman pde, Fairfield heights. It was probably only a
metre across with a small black dot underneath. It was probably 35 metres in the air. Ive seen plenty of
helium balloons and hot air balloons. This was in the daylight, the object remained perfectly still on a breezy
day. My wife was driving the car and we drove right under it. I viewed it for about 8 seconds. It was unlike
anything Ive seen before.
- Saw three sightings 10 yrs ago over my house. All in the space of about 2 weeks. One in particular was a
saucer shaped silver metallic craft that seemed like it came from a 50's sci-fi movie. At about 4pm I saw
what I can only describe as a zero degree entry into the earths atmosphere, trailing a plume of fire behind,
quite a sight. Then it hovered for a while and then slowly headed out towards the Blue Mountains.
- DRIVING OUT OF BONNYRIGG MY SON NOTICED WHAT HE CALLED A THING IN THE SKY SO WE I
LOOKED AND SAID OH YES THE CLOUDS LOOK REALLY FLUFFY TODAY AND HE SAID NO THAT
THING IT'S JUST SITTING THERE, SO WE ALL LOOKED AROUD TRYING TO SEE WHAT HE WAS
LOOKING AT WHEN WE STOPPED THE CAR HE POINTED AT IT. IT WAS???? WELL NOT A PLANE
BECAUSE IT WAS JUST STILL AND DIDN'T LOOK LIKE ONE AT ALL, IT WAS DARK SILVER/GREY AND
KINDA OVAL, WE DROVE DOWN THEN TO THE PETROL STATION ON ELIZABETH DRIVE IN
LIVERPOOL TO FILL UP AND I STEPPED OUT OF THE UTE AND LOOKED FOR IT AGAIN AND YES IT
WAS, SO WE DECIDED TO DRIVE BACK HOME 4 MIN AWAY AND GET THE BINOCULARS BY THE
TIME WE GOT HOME FOUND THE BIN/LARS WE LOST THE OBJECT? WE DROVE AROUND A BIT TO
TRY AND FIND IT TO GET A PIC BUT COULDN'T FIND IT??? SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS SO IT
WAS AN UFO. THAT WAS ON THE 23 OF AUGUST 2009 ABOVE LIVERPOOL/BONNYRIGG AREA AT 230PM ON A SUNNY DAY FEW CLOUDS AROUND. CLOUDS WERE MOVING AS NORMAL AND THIS
THING WAS NOT?

Blue Mountains UFO Research Club
All members of UFO RESEARCH (NSW) INC are invited to participate in a join
meeting with Rex & Heather Gilroy at the Blue Mountains on Saturday 21 November 2009
commencing at 2pm. Weather permitting the meeting will include a sky watch in the
evening.
The meeting will take place at the Gilroy residence at 12 Kamillaroi Rd, Katoomba.
All who wish to attend please remember to bring a plate of food for afternoon tea.
