A VOTE FOR DON LAMBORN IS A VOTE FOR LEADERSHIP,

COMMITMENT AND KNOWLEDGE
Traveling through the majority of Senate District
14 has reaffirmed my belief that Wyoming is still
the best location on earth. As you travel around
southwest Wyoming and see the vast vistas, bordered by various mountain ranges one can easily
feel that they are on top of the world. We should
be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area
and its vastness. It takes time to cover District 14.
I am committed to taking the time necessary to
properly represent this Senate District. It is enjoyable to meet so many good people and be able
to listen to their concerns. Some concerns are
universal in the fact that they influence all of us.
We all know that there will be changes ahead.
We will need creative, positive efforts to find

viable solutions to the looming revenue losses, to

health care issues, a diverse economy, and more.
Wyoming has produced many firsts. First business west of the Missouri River, first national forest, first forest and ranger station, first artificially
lit evening football game, first women to vote,
first woman Justice of the Peace, all woman jury,
bailiff, governor, statewide elected official, and
more. We need to continue that tradition and
create the solutions to the current issues that are
firsts. Together we can influence the legislative
process for the benefit of the people of Wyoming,
especially District 14.
I believe in Wyoming and I feel strongly that we
have a great future ahead of us.

VOTE AUGUST 16TH FOR A COMMON SENSE CONSERVATIVE

CORE VALUES:
Respect for Private Property. I am a sure NO vote on any bill that presumes to tell private property owners
throughout the state what they may and may not do on their private property.
Fiscal Discipline, Integrity and Transparency. I support the states efforts to save money. Wyomings budget
has its share of earmarks and pork. We are not so much different in this regard as Washington, DC. Bills that
failed in committee or in the legislature should not be attached to the budget. To do so, violates the integrity of
the process. The state has reported retirement liabilities of $75.6 million, and unreported retirement liabilities of
$1.1 billion. Not much transparency there. If I were invested in one of the states pension plans, I would be concerned.
Respect for Contracts. Nothing demonstrates a societys commitment to the rule of law than the way it honors
contracts among willing individuals and among willing businesses.
Free Markets and Capitalism. Government has no business picking winners and losers in Wyomings marketplace, or using tax payer dollars to help one business or another. If an enterprise is worth funding, let the banks
and venture capitalists do it not the state.
State and Individual Sovereignty. The states created the federal government, not the other way around. The
Ninth and Tenth Amendments were adopted because our founders knew exactly what large, central governments
without the checks of the states and the people were capable of. As a Supreme Court justice said recently,
the states are sovereign its time they acted like it.
Self Reliance. It should be assumed in all legislation. Neither the State of Wyoming nor the federal government should ever craft legislation, or promulgate a rule, that presumes the inability of the average individual
American to manage his or her own affairs.
Respect for Religion and Traditional Morality. As John Adams said at the adoption of our US Constitution, it
was written for a religious and moral people. It will serve no other. Religion is critical to the function of
democracy.
Limited, Constitutional, Representative Government. We elect people to protect our interests and our freedoms according to our Constitution. Nowhere in the US Constitution is the federal government empowered with
any authority over our education or health care. Article 1, Section 8 describes the limits of the governments
powers and duties. It has been said that there is no higher authority in this country that the United States
Supreme Court. Actually, there are two higher authorities the states and the people. This is the very basic
principle of Federalism.
