Noun
An act of becoming fully aware of
something as a fact.
The fulfillment or achievement of
something desired or anticipated: "the

disease treatment system.

Example presentation: Infertility
16
Natural Solutions to
Improve Fertility
What is infertility?
Infertility is the impairment of the reproductive
system. Conception is a process that depends upon
many factors: on the production of healthy sperm by
the man and healthy eggs by the woman; unblocked
fallopian tubes that allow the sperm to reach the egg;
the sperms ability to fertilize the egg when they
meet; the ability of the fertilized egg (embryo) to
become implanted in the womans uterus; and
sufficient embryo quality.

Acupuncture
and Herbs in
treating these

Oriental Medicine

Acupuncture but
the use of Chinese
Herbs.
An acupuncturist studies
in depth how to diagnose
and treat the human body.
There are 2000 specific
locations on the body
where blockages can
occur. An acupuncturist is
trained to find these
points.

Functional
Medicine:
The Answer To Your
Health Problems
29
There is a true
cause to
headaches,
pain, weight
issues and
every other
health
problem.
30
By functional in nature, we
mean the reason the
problem exists is because
there is a malfunction in
your body that caused it.
31
Processed foods,
nicknamed junk food,
such as donuts, pastries,
potato chips, french fries,
sodas etc. are a source of
empty calories. They have
no nutrition, only
calories. These products
not only make you gain
weight, but make you
unhealthy.
32
Europeans eat
what they purchase
the same day,
providing healthier
and better tasting
food.
The reason is
that
Europeans
shop daily for
fresh produce.

epigenetic |epijnetik|
Biology resulting from external rather than genetic influences: epigenetic Biology of, relating to, or
of the nature of epigenesis.
Before we look at
how stress can cause
hormone
imbalances, I would
like you to fill out a
stress survey with
me to see how stress
might be effecting
you.
35
36
There are 50
different hormones
released by your
stress glands (the
adrenal glands)
whenever you are
under stress.

37

38
I will conduct an
extremely thorough
consultation with
you and then
perform several tests
to determine why
you are
malfunctioning.
39
As I said, my purpose is
to help you and I will
not waste your time or
money.

42
1. Ask the patient how they were doing when they first came to you.
(First Help)
2. Ask the patient if they think there are people in our area who right
now are suffering needlessly because they dont know we can help
them. (Second Help)
3. Tell them your purpose. (Third Help)
4. Comment on the economy.
5. Ask them if you gave them a check could they give it to someone.
6. Who?
7. Their name?
8. Their problem?
9. Write it in the records.
10. Is there anyone else they would like to offer a check to?
43
44
1. On the phone, ask, Are you in pain, suffering in any way or have a
problem you would like to get rid of as soon as possible?
2. If they answer yes: In that case, the Lac. would want to see you as
soon as possible.
3. When a new patient enters, shake their hand, bring the forms to them
and sit down with them.
4. Ask new patients how they heard about your office and if they have
ever been to a natural healthcare practitioner/wellness center before.
5. AA/Assistant tells patient about the Lac., covering why the he is the
best and most caring. Example: I want to tell you I have worked with
Regan for three years. He is one of the most caring people I have
ever met. He constantly attends seminars to learn the latest
procedures and I have seen miracles happen with patients he treats.
45
Pulse Diagnosis
Structural
analysis:
Explain where
there are
structural
distortions and
trigger points.
Look for ashi and
alarm points.
Agenda Notes pg 50
Lac.: That is not a problem. Can I ask what you could afford to
pay for todays visit?
Patient: $50, half, $100, etc.
Lac.: I understand. That is okay. Can I ask you how much you
could afford to pay per week toward eliminating the balance?
Patient: I do not think more than $40 dollars. Maybe I should
wait?
Lac.: There is no need to wait. Our policy is to provide care
within your budget if we can help you. So, it is okay to pay only
what you can afford today and $40 a week. The most important
thing is to help you become free from pain and regain your
health. Again, we will work with you to make sure you can
afford our care but first we need to find out what exactly is
causing your problems and what it would take to get you well.
So, would you like us to try and help you?
Patient: Okay.
Greet patient
