Juvenile Delinquency

Juvenile delinquency include all behaviors that deviant from


the norms of criminal law committed by teenagers. Such behavior will harm himself and the
people around him. Education experts agree that teens are those aged 13-18 years. At that age a
person is beyond childhood, but still not mature enough to be able to say mature. He is in
transition.
The types of delinquency is divided into 3 among others:

Ordinary delinquency, such as lying, went out of the house without saying goodbye to
his parents, wandering, fighting with friends and littering

Delinquency that led to the violations and crimes such as driving a vehicle without a
license, racing, stealing, drinking

Special Delinquency such as sex outside of marriage, abuse of narcotics, homicide, rape,
and abort content

The cause of juvenile delinquency


Naughty teen behavior may be caused by factors from the teens themselves (internal) and factors
from outside (external).
Internal factors:
Identity crisis

Biological and sociological changes in the juvenile allow the two forms of integration. First, the
formation of a sense of consistency in his life. Second, the achievement of role identity. Juvenile
delinquency occurs because teens fail to reach the second integration.
Weak self-control
Teens who could not learn and distinguish between behavior that is acceptable to unacceptable
will be dragged on naughty behavior. Likewise for those who already know the difference
between two of these behaviors, but can not develop self-control to behave in accordance with
his knowledge.
External factors:

Family. Parents divorce, the absence of communication between family members, or


disputes between family members can trigger negative behaviors in adolescents.
Education was wrong in the family as too indulgent of children, does not provide
religious education, or rejection of the existence of the child, can be a cause of juvenile
delinquency.

Some things you can do to deal with juvenile delinquency, among others:
