turnaround, with offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai and Washington, D.C.
Outside Director on the Moneo board and a senior advisor to clients on a project basis.

President, CEO and Board Director of Avon Products Co., Ltd., a Japanese cosmetics and skin care
company in restructuring and turnaround mode, and wholly owned by TPG Capital.
Engaged with customers, sales leaders and Marketing to develop and execute the product, channel,
brand PR and other go-to-market strategies to realize the new business model.
Worked with TPG and its Bank to successfully sell the firm to a new owner in January 2016.
As CFO and COO:
Responsible for daily management of Finance, (GAAP reporting, Treasury, risk management, budgeting
and forecasting), supply chain Operations, IT and Human Resources.
Led the Strategic Plan and its functional interlock for the CEO.

Led all financial discussions with our private equity owners and discussions with the Board.
Moved all manufacturing and distribution activities to third-party partners, restructured the workforce,
and sold the firms owned facilities, saving millions of dollars in annual operating costs for better gross
margins, generating immediate cash for dividends and resulting in a balance sheet light in fixed assets.
Outsourced in-bound call center activities, closed the internal center, separated employees and
transitioned the work to the new third party partners, further reducing costs and improving service.

CFO for the Amway Japan legal entity of approximately $1.3 Billion in revenue and 700K registered
distributors. Responsible for the off-shoring of the Accounting function to a new shared operations
center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, saving $1.5 Million in annual operating costs.
Responsible for all aspects of IT systems, software development and infrastructure. Restructured the IT
function and re-focused the division on strategic architecture and business process skills while offshoring commodity development and system management activities. Saved $7 Million in annual
operating costs and vastly improved service delivery to support revenue growth in on-line channels.
Management of the Operational Excellence Group and business PMO for Lean Sigma and Kaizen
activities across Amway Japan. Executed $4.2 Million in operating cost savings.
Added responsibility for Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics and Distribution in 2011.
Restructured the Distribution infrastructure, closing two of four regional distribution centers, and
improving asset utilization 60%, saved $3.2 Million in annual operating costs.
Managed ~400 staff until restructuring completed in 2012, reducing total labor cost by 32%.

CFO and member of the board of directors for the former GE Consumer Finance Japan purchased by
Shinsei Bank Group. Additional responsibilities included the corporate strategic plan and the evaluation
of new initiatives, financial systems and infrastructure, procurement and vendor management, including
outsourcing and off-shore operational support in Dalian, China for the entire company.
Managed 60+ finance professionals, including 14 offshore.
Overseeing the closure of two business lines to reduce 38% of full-time staff, 700+ headcount, by the
end of fiscal 2009 saving 5.5 Billion Yen in annual labor costs.
