welded on a 100 mm X 100 mm X 1.6 mm thick M.S. base plate. Base plate shall be die
formed and electroplated to prevent rust & corrosion. The base plate shall have factory
made holes at four corners for anchoring to the floor by means of dash fasteners. The
base plate may be embossed for additional strength.
For height above 800 mm
Pedestal shall be 42 mm diameter, 3 mm thick, seamless class A MS pipe, projection
welded on a 100 mm X 100 mm X 10 mm thick base plate, with stiffeners. Base plate
shall be die formed and electroplated to prevent rust & corrosion. The base plate shall
have factory made holes at four corners for anchoring to the floor by means of 60 mm
anchor fasteners. The base plate may be embossed for additional strength. A heavy
bushing of 20 mm ID and 50 mm length shall be provided on the top of the pedestal for
leveling nuts.

Panels shall be of 600 mm X 600 mm in size, 32 mm thick and constructed in steel with
conductive epoxy coating. The panel shall consist of 1.2mm thick bottom profiled tray, die
formed, with 1.5 mm thick top sheet as per manufacturers standard drawing. The bottom
tray and top sheet shall be resistance welded at all the touch points. The voids in the tile
between the bottom tray and top sheet shall be filled with chemical modified light concrete
mix, to add strength to the panel and improve its thermal insulation and nonflammable
property.
3.3
SURFACE FINISH
The top surface of the panel shall be finished with 2 mm thick Antistatic PVC tiles of
approved make and colour bonded to the panel top with synthetic resin adhesive of ABC
/ United Insulation make or approved equivalent.
Edges of the finished panels shall have 5 mm wide and 2 mm thick PVC beading,
mechanically bonded to panel edges.
3.4
