The Emiri Decree No. (5/2014)
Concerning issuance of Executive Regulations for licensing of
Hotels & Tourist Establishments in Ajman Emirate
Greetings,
Based on our continuous cooperation and coordination with you to ensure
the safety and correctness of the financial data, kindly note that an Emiri
Decree No. 8-4-3 of 2014, concerning the regulation of Hotel and Tourist
Establishments, has been decreed as follows:

A 10% tourist fees out of the value of each invoice issued by any
relevant hotel establishment shall be levied starting from 1.3.2014.
H1otel establishments must prepare their financial data concerning
their sales on a monthly bases, they must also get the said financial
data audited by a registered auditor in Ajman, on annual bases.
All hotel establishments must pay the 10% ratio to Ajman Municipality
and Planning Department up to 11.6.2014. Starting from 12.6.2014
the said 10% ratio must be paid to the Tourism Development
Department.
All hotel establishments must document and record the due fees in
the OPERA system or any other accounting system approved by
Tourism Development Department, in Ajman.
Any hotel establishment not abides by this Circular will be subject to a
financial fine as per the Penalties and Fines Schedule, attached
hereto.

Emiri Decree No. 3/ 2014

Concerning the Tourism Development Department Services Fees (in
Ajman)
Article 1
Name of Decree and Commencement:
The name of this Decree is Emiri Decree No. 3 of 2014, concerning
Tourism Development Department Services Fees (in Ajman) and shall take
effect as of 1st March 2014.
Article 2
Determination of Fees:
The Tourism Development Department in Ajman, shall receive the fees
stated in the List, attached to this Decree, against the services it provides
for the beneficiaries of its services.
Article 3
Cancellation of the previous Legislations:
This Decree shall be published in the official gazette of the Emirate of
Ajman and shall be circulated to all relevant parties.
