Use this list to verify inclusion of the required component of the research paper:
Format
All pages are double-spaced (outline, paper, Works Cited).

Last name and page number are in the upper right corner as a header on each
page.

One-inch margins are used on all pages (outline, paper, Works Cited).

All work is word processed and spell checked.

Font is Times New Roman, 12 point size.

Appropriate format has been used (MLA, APA, etc).

Outline or Mapping of Paper (If in outline form, use the following

conventions:)
Title of research paper appears centered at the top of page.

For every 1 there is a 2; for every A there is a B.

Research Paper
Paragraphs are indented.

Introductory paragraph contains 3-5 sentences and contains the thesis.

Paper does not contain contractions (cant, wont, etc.).

Paper does not use first person pronouns (we, I, you, us, our, my, me, mine).

Sentences do not begin with an Arabic numeral.
