Last weekend, my friends and I went camping. We reached the camping
ground after we walked for about one and a half hour from the parking lot. We
built the camp next to a small river. It was getting darker and colder, so we
built a re camp. The next day, we spent our time observing plantation and
insects while the girls were preparing meals. In the afternoon we went to the
river and caught some shes for supper. At night, we held a re camp night.

We sang, danced, read poetry, played magic tricks, and even some of us
performed a standing comedy. On Monday, we packed our bags and got ready

The Legend of Lake Toba
There was a sherman who lived in Batak land. His name was Batara Guru
Sahala. When he was angling, he caught a sh. He was supprised to nd that
because the sh could talk and it begged to set it free. He did accordingly.
After getting free, the sh changed into a beautiful woman and Sahala fell in
love with her. Sahala asked her to marry him and the woman received him. However
she in asked his promised not to tell anyone the secret that she was once a sh.
They were very happy married, got two daughter.
It was a pity on Sahala. One day when he got angry with the daughters of a sh.
His wife couldnt forgive him. Suddenly, the earth began to shake and the
volcanoes started to erupt. The earth cracked and formed a big hole. People said
thet the hole became lake Toba.
