A. Introduction
Tropical Fisheries with International Linkage (TFIL), Course has launched it self in 2015
at the Master Program in Aquatic Science (ASP) Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences
(FoFMS), Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT). This Course aims to produce human resources
who have attained knowledge And techniques in the theories and applications relevant To the
tropical and sub-tropical fishery industries. And developed the capability to play an active part on
global Communities on the basis of the Postgraduate (Master) Program on Tropical Fisheries with
International Linkage.
The said Program is the international postgraduate education organization established and
run under a unified rule with linkage of the member school in various countries in Asia; Namely
Faculty of Fisheries, Kagoshima University (Japan); School of Fisheries and Aquaculture
Sciences, University Malaysia Terengganu (Malaysia); College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences,
University of the Philippines Visayas (Philippines); Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University
(Thailand); and Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Sam Ratulangi University (Indonesia).

Students registered in the Program at his/her home university can freely take subjects
offered under the Program at the member universities, receive education with no additional cost
and obtain credits. Students who satisfy the requirements set by the Program will receive a
certificate of completion of the Program (attached of certificate). This Course is one of the
constituents of the above international linkage program, where students registered in the Course
can attend lectures, practical etc.and be supervised on researches for his/her master degree thesis
at a member school overseas, while belonging to ASP, FoFMS, UNSRAT. All the member schools
shall educate the Program student commonly and develop globalized human resources in fisheries.

B. Objectives Of Study in Kagoshima University, Japan


This is Activities one of terms for the ILP/TFIL student, the contracted special study course in
half of the three.

C. The Implementation Of Study in Kagoshima University, Japan


This is Activities Summer Session 2016 Graduate School of Fisheries, Kagoshima University in
Association with The Postgraduate Program on Tropical Fisheries With International Linkage
hosted by Faculty of Fisheries, Kagoshima University Japan at on 20th until 28th september 2016.
As such activity as follows :
1. 20th August 2016

: Opening Ceromony

2. 22th 25th August

: Study in Class (Management of Tropical Fisheries)

3. 29 August 2 Sep

: Study in Class (Aquatic Science)

4. 5 Sep 9 Sep

: Study in Class (Fisheries Resource Science)

5. 12 Sep - 16 Sep

: Study in Class (Biochemistry)

6. 16th 26th September

: Achievement/ Research my Experiment in laboratory of

Biochemistry Faculty of Fisheries Kagoshima University, with My Host Profesor Dr. M.


Komatsu, PhD. Sensei, and My research the Tittle is Analyze The Functional Effect Of
Okadaic Acid To The Embrio Of Zebra Fish (Danio rerio).

D. Outcomes
In the presences of The Postgraduate Program on Tropical Fisheries With International Linkage in
Japan, very useful for us because as we get additional science, especially in the field of fisheries
and marine science.
