Roman Haubenstock-Ramati (Hebrew:

editor who worked in Krakw, Tel Aviv and Vienna.

Haubenstock-Ramati studied composition, music theory,


violin and philosophy in Krakw and Lemberg from 1937

Ramati
Jzef Koer. From 1947 to 1950 he was head of the
Roman Haubenstock-Ramati biography and works
music department of Krakw Radio. From 1950 he was
on the UE website (publisher)
a professor at the Tel Aviv Music Academy, where he
also led the setting-up of a central music library. In 1957
Biography by Erhard Karkoschka (1971) (German)
he was awarded a six-month stipend for the Academy for
musique concrte. From 1958 he was an editor of new
music for Universal Edition in Vienna. In addition he See also: Haubenstock and Ramati
gave guest lectures and composition seminars in Tel Aviv,
Stockholm, Darmstadt, Bilthoven (the Netherlands) and
Buenos Aires, and from 1973 held a professorship at the
Musikhochschule in Vienna.
Haubenstock-Ramati was also a designer and painter.
