Dear Sandra Wilson :

I have created this letter to highlight parts of my resume, as well as explain a little
bit more about my e-portfolio. First off I would like to start by saying I am in my first year
of post-secondary education. I have chosen Fanshawe College as my school of study and
I am currently enrolled in the business fundamentals program. I have been enjoying this
program very much and have leaned many things not only about myself but things that I
can use in the workplace. I believe this program will help me get to where I would like to
be in business.
I have many skills to offer. I am very dependable and organized. I like to get a task
done to the best of my ability. I have great customer service skills due to my many jobs
that involve interacting with customers. Some of my customer service based jobs include
McDonalds Canada and Williams Coffee House. These jobs have taught me how to deal
with difficult customers and how to make sure at the end of the day everyone is satisfied.
I have also worked in a factory called Roctel. This job taught me what it is like to work in
a production line scenario. I learned that each person must do their job to the best of
their ability so the rest of the line can do the same. If the line is running well the
customer is satisfied and there is nothing better than a satisfied customer.
I have created an e-portfolio to better show my experience, skills, and
achievements. This portfolio has everything a possible employer is looking for. It includes
a brief biography of me as well as this cover letter, my resume and references, a letter of
recommendation, and finally some additional items. It is in an easy to use layout and
highlights things I am proud of. I hope this portfolio will help me get the job I am looking
for while in school and also once I am finished school.
