Georeferencing consists of locating an object in three-dimensional space with respect to

the earth using a coordinate system and a given DATUM. Its main use is to establish
the relations between raster and vector images in a coordinate system. Besides
determining the place in the space of the geographical elements, it allows to establish
the correct position of an aerial photograph in a map and to determine the exact location
of a point in a photograph or image; Such as finding the coordinates of a specific place,
the distance from one point to another, and so on. This procedure is of great importance
for information models in the field of geographic information systems (GIS), since it
functions as a source of direct and accurate information.
The correct location of a plant is as important to its success as the selection of a good
process. Careful consideration should be given not only to most of the tangible factors
such as labor availabilities and sources of raw materials but also a large number of
intangible factors which are more difficult to assess. The selection of a plant should be
based on a very detailed study in which all factors must be taken into account as much
as possible. Often such a study is expensive, but false economies in this concept can
lead to large losses in the future.
For this exercise I am going to assume that a company needs to locate an intermediate
distribution center between its plant A and its main distributors. The coordinates and
