LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. How the spatial data is organized based on the theme it represents.
2. How the Geographic data relates to its descriptive components by
exploring tables pertaining to the features.
3. The concepts of topology (i.e. how spatial features relate to one another).
4. To become familiar with how data is displayed and queried, and
how meaningful output is created.

STEPS :
EXAMINE SOME FEATURE LAYERS AND THEIR ORGANIZATION
1. Launch the ArcMap application.

Double-click shortcut for ArcMap

on your desktop, or click
Start > Programs > ArcGIS > ArcMap.
As the ArcMAP startup dialog appear, confirm or click A new
