Trade has and will always be a major part of human history. Countries trade to gain resources they may be
lacking, or to produce and trade their own surplus of resources. Trade is responsible for the modern world
we live in today, and is the heart of our global economy. Trade allows cultures to be shared and
communication between a plethora of countries. Look at the clothing on your body or the items you carry
around with you; they are a result of international trade. Without this international trade, where would we
be?
