Thisdocumentisdesignedtohelpyouidentifyhowcoursepermissionsaffectusers'accessto
Canvasfeatures.Tokeepthingssimple,thepermissionsarelistedinalphabeticalorder,
matchingtheCanvasUI.Eachpermissionisbrokendownintothreesections:whatitdoes,
featuresaffected,andrelatedinformation(ifany).

Thingstokeepinmindwhenworkingwithpermissions:

YoucannotchangeapermissionthathasatransparentcheckmarkorXwithoutabutton.
Thesearepermissionsthatarelockedbydefaultandcannotbemodifiedbyanyone.
Whenyouchangeapermission,itcansometimestake30minutesorlongerforthat
permissiontotakeeffect.Iftheexpectedchangesdonotappearimmediately,tryagain
aftersometimehaspassed.
Enablingapermissiondoesn'ttakeeffectasquicklyasdisablingapermission.
