Scope of Tender
CREATIVE MACAU - Center for Creative Industries (CCI), a project managed by
Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM), is currently organizing the
SOUND & IMAGE CHALLENGE International Festival 2016 (SIC2016). The
tender is for the following event management services:
(a)

Organize the sourcing, if necessary, of appropriate equipment and services

needed for SIC2016:
1) Rental of screens, projectors, audio systems and/or any equipment for
screening sessions, master classes, talk sessions and live performances in
Dom Pedro V theatre;
2) Photography and video recording & post-editing (including the SIC2016
and SIC2017 promotional video);
3) Set up of the venue (backdrop, red carpet, etc.);
4) Public relation;
5) MC (fluent in English, Cantonese);
6) Simultaneous interpretation equipment;
7) Simultaneous interpreter (Chinese-English).

(b)

Evaluate, in the quotation stage, the said equipment and services contracted to
CCI / IEEM in regards to SIC2016.

(c)

Provide advices and written reports before CCI / IEEM acquiring the said
equipment and services.

(d)

Keep track of acquisition process after the contracts (between CCI/IEEM and
the contractors) were made.

(e)

Supervise, in the production stage, the SIC event (6 days), including screening
sessions, master classes, talk sessions and live performances, in December
2016; the service provider has to assign a person at the venues (Dom Pedro V
and Cinematheque-Passion) to supervise the events during the 6 days.

(f)

Launch Campaigns (such as posters, web advertisement provided by CCI at

pre-festival and post-festival stage) and keep contacts to local media, social
media, creative society and related party.

Frequent meetings will be held in September to November during the office hours of
CCI.
The tender should be submitted by hand to CCI no later than 30 June 2016; it should
include the following documents:

Quotation with terms and conditions;

Company Profile with Portfolio.
