her house for a few days. Victim got drunk a couple nights ago and angry and left
the house. Victim has not been back sense and they cannot get a hold of her.
Victim left all of her property including cloths, medicine, and some insurance

he said he hasn`t spoke to the victim in a while and does not know where she is. I
told him if he hears from her to please pick up her property.
I told the reporter to bag up all of her property and put it aside in the house. I said
if she does not hear from the victim within 30 days it is considered abandon
property and she can throw it out at that time. I told her after 30 days we can pick
the medicine up if she would like.

kicked Ofc. Carlile in the face. One of the nurses discovered the paraphernalia in
the offenders sock while treating him. Ofc. Keller contacted me and advised that
the vehicle the Offender was operating was a stolen vehicle. Cross reference with

King West. Amy stated that the listed offender passed a bad check to Rural King
in the amount of $1074.79. Amy stated that the listed offender has passed bad
checks in Missouri (one), Illinois (three), and Indiana (six) with only one in
Evansville. The checks showed the account being with Fabrication Specialist,
LLC and signed by R. E. Lamb with an Oklahoma driver`s license. Amy said that
she has footage and a description of the vehicle that he was driving and she will
send this to the west Rural King store for detectives to view.

"German American Bank," 530 N SAINT JOSEPH AVE. The "check" appeared
to be written on the account of listed IO-business, "Bartley`s," 1400 N ROYAL
AVE, for the amount of $2,493.23 (check number 10153.) Listed Reporter, Mr
Buescher, is a clerk at German American Bank and called Bartley`s to check on
the authenticity of the check. When it was discovered to be fraudulent, Police
were called. Suspect was arrested.

released. The female, who had narcotics hidden on her person, was arrested on
false informing, dealing methamphetamine, and her felony warrant. The vehicle

progress. During the investigation, the offender drove her vehicle at a high rate of
speed down Kerth, parked the vehicle and exited. The offender was very agitated
and kept yelling at the female involved in the original run. Officers asked the
offender to remain calm and tried to prevent her from going up to the scene. The
offender did not follow officer`s orders and force was used to place her into
custody. The offender was transported to VCCC.

Officers were investigating a domestic battery in progress. Family member to the


offender of the domestic battery attempted several times to go after officers as they
were attempting to put the offender in the patrol car. The family member was
instructed several times to stay on the porch and to not interfere. He attempted to
get around officers several times and resisted officers when officers attempted to
place him in handcuffs. He continued to yell throughout the entire encounter.
He was later found to have a warrant.
He was arrested for two counts of resisting [one for the interference], disorderly
conduct and a disorderly conduct.

to a break in progress. Officers discovered IO, Higgins, was there to gather
belongings of his at this address where he had been staying on and off. Before
allowing Higgins to leave, officers looked into Higgins back pack and noticed a
small amount of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The substance
was later tested and tested positive for THC. The substance IS TO BE
DESTROYED.

Officers were dispatched to 2508-240 Old Business 41 for a theft report. The
victim, Lori Gunhammer stated she had items taken from the room.
Gunhammer advised she left the room on 11/30/2016 at approximately 1900
hours. Gunhammer advised when she came back to the room on 12/01/2-16 at
approximately 1700 hours she noticed she had items missing. Gunhammer stated
she is staying here with her daughter and her daughter`s boyfriend, Jason Spears.
Gunhammer stated Spears advised her he woke up and noticed a male in the room.
Spears told her that the male did have some of Lori`s items and he gave them back.
Lori stated she is missing a purse that had several makeup items inside and some
jewelry. Lori requested a report be taken for the incident.
She was given a case number and advised to call if she locate the stolen items.

Inhabited Dwelling (C), at 1153 Covert Ave, Evansville, IN, between 21:00,
12/01/2016 and 00:00, 12/02/2016. Reported: 12/02/2016.

HERRMANN, E.

Officers were dispatched to 1153 Covert Ave Apt. A8 for shell casings and
bullet holes. The victim, Valerie Hatfield, stated that she came home and noticed
there were shell casings in the hallway. Hatfield then noticed there her door was
kicked in and there were bullet holes in the door leading to her apartment. Hatfield
stated she believes this occurred around 2100 hours when the Fire Department was
called to this address by her neighbors for smelling smoke. Hatfield stated no one
was home at the time of this incident and no one else currently lives with her.
Hatfield does not believe any items were taken. Officers located 2 shell casings
in the upstairs hallway leading to her apartment. Officers also located bullet holes
in the front door, her living room wall and her bedroom door. It appears that a
bullet went through the front door, into the living room wall, and then into the
door. The apartment door that opens to her apartment had damage to the frame and
locks.
Crime Scene was called to the scene to document and collect evidence.

The victim called police after her husband whom she is going through a
divorce with made threats to kill her tonight. And was trying to get into a back
room she was staying in. On scene, officers found the suspect here and tried
mirandizing him. Further questioning was not forthcoming at the time. Officers
tried securing the suspect in a patrol car when he refused to comply. Other
officers arrived to assist and securing the prisoner in a transport van. He was taken
by the hospital for evaluation before jail. He was later booked into the VCCC for
felony Intimidation and Resisting Law Enforcement.

Aaron Mauck was walking on Second St. with Rachel Hill when a subject on a
bicycle pulled up to them and pointed a gun at Aaron demanding his wallet.
Aaron said that he threw his wallet on the ground. Aaron said that the Offender
picked up his wallet and fled on his bicycle southeast on Second St. Aaron could
not give any description of the subject. Officers checked the area but were unable
to locate the Offender. Detective DeYoung was called to the scene and he spoke to
the victim and witness. No further information at time of report.

Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. The victim stated that her
soon to be ex-husband, came over to her house. The victim stated that the
offender began to bang on her front window. The victim stated that the offender
told her new boyfriend to come out and fight. The victim stated the offender came
up and knocked her bedroom window out with hand. The offender fled the scene
before officers arrived. The victim was given the case number.

arriving officer met with the reporter. He stated that he was driving the 2001 Kia
Sportage east on Virginia St at Garvin St. He said that a blue Chevy Malibu was
north on Garvin. It ran a red light striking the victims vehicle on the right front.
The damage was inconsistent with the story of the reporter and when asked about
that the reporter said that he struck a pole after the car hit him.

their business. Officer arrived on scene and was greeted by Mr. Dan Hoesli, the
owner of the business.
Mr. Hoesli stated that he had on vidoe a white one ton, possibly chevy truck that
arrived on his lot on 11-29-2016 at or around 0126 hours. Two suspects back the
vehicle up to a storage bin that contained cast iron, cast steel and cast aluminum.
Two suspects are seen taking all the items from the storage bins and placing the
items on the back of the flatbed truck and leaving the property at or around 0152
hours.
Mr. Hoesli stated that there have been several thefts in the business complex
(16-26903) and he stated he spoke with a business owner who recognized the truck
and the owner from previous business transactions.

Halterman stated that the offender rang her door bell and she observed him as she
was looking out of her window. Halterman stated that on 11/27/2016, the offender
dropped his cell phone outside of her residence. Halterman stated that she kept the
cell phone to further prove the continued harassment from the offender. Halterman
stated the offender attempted to contact her to retrieve the phone.

Dispatched to 1061-D S. Lincoln Pk dr in reference to a Residential Burglary. On


scene officers made contact with the caller, J. Harvey. Harvey stated N. Higgins
kicked in her door and he was not supposed to be there. Higgins was on scene
when officers arrived.
Harvey stated Higgins is her ex-boyfriend, and he has been living at her home
since August. Harvey stated Higgins has been staying with her and staying other
places but he has all his clothes in her apartment. Harvey stated she and Higgins
had an argument before she left for work earlier on this date, and during the
argument Higgins choked her. Harvey stated she did not call 911 because she had
to go to work. Harvey stated Higgins came up to her job at Zuki around 9:00pm
and she told him to leave. Harvey left work a little time after and was called by a
co-worker who asked her where she lived because she just dropped Higgins off at
the Little Ceaser`s Pizza on Washington Ave. A short time later, Harvey stated
Higgins knocked on her door advising her to let him. Harvey advised to Higgins
he needed to leave but Higgins kicked the door in. Harvey stated Higgins did not
physically harm her when he came inside. Officers arrived shortly after Higgins
entered the home.
Officers explained to Harvey due to Higgins staying there, and having property in
the home, he could not be arrested for kicking her door, and she would need to
obtain a protective order or file for eviction. Officers explained to Higgins he will
need to call for a stand-by to pick up his items from Harvey`s trunk of her car.
Higgins had a bag of clothes that I went to retrieve for him as he waited
downstairs, when I returned to give him the bag, he was no longer on scene.
Harvey would not answer the door after I knocked 5 times, so I placed the bag of
clothes on her porch next to her patio chair.

We were dispatched to Chuckles at 501 N. Fares in reference to a hit and run.


When we arrived we spoke with Hatton who was driving the vehicle owned by
Stallins. Hatton told us that he was north on US Hwy 41 at Virginia St. when he
was attempting to make a U-turn to go south on US Hwy 41. Hatton was in the
middle lane of the three northbound lanes, and started to make a left turn to start
the U-turn when a semi that was also northbound on Hwy 41 that was on the inside
lane made contact with the driver side front quarter panel of the vehicle. The
damage also consisted of the front driver side headlight and the front end of the
car. The semi continued further north on Hwy 41, the driver of the semi stopped
about a half block up the highway before getting out and looking at his vehicle,
and then continued northbound. Hatton or the passenger could not give us any
description about the semi.

We were dispatched to 5017 E Sycamore in reference to domestic violence. Upon
arrival we spoke to Renee Davis who was waiting in the stairway of the apartment
complex. Davis said she got into an argument with her boyfriend, Brian Bridge
and it got physical. Davis said Bridge became upset with her because she has been
allowing her 17 year old son to smoke marijuana in the apartment. Davis said the
argument escalated and Bridge hit her in the face. We observed Davis has a small
laceration on her lip and had dried blood around her lips.
We made contact with Bridge inside the apartment. We observed Bridge had a
laceration on his forehead that was bleeding. Bridge also stated he got upset with
Davis over her allowing her teenage son to smoke marijuana in the apartment.
Bridge said Davis kicked him in the forehead and that he never put his hands on
her.
Neither Bridge or Davis wanted to pursue charges against each other. Davis said
she just wanted Bridge to leave at least for the night. Bridge agree to leave for the
night. Advised Davis if she wanted a more permanent solutions she needed to
look into file for a protective order.
