Students may not be identified specifically. Last names may not be used on social
media.
Comply with the Childrens Internet Protection Act (CIPA), and Neighborhood
Childrens Internet Protection Act (NCIPA).
Filtering software will be utilized to prevent access by adults and/or students to
inappropriate material intentionally or by accident.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to the teacher, guidance counselor,
school principal, or Human Resources Director.
The use of the Internet and the school network is monitored. Failure to follow
these rules, procedures, and any governing laws could result in loss of ability to
use the Internet or school network and/or consequences and/or notification of
legal authorities if necessary.
o Potential consequences for Students: parents/guardians notified, financial
compensation for any damages, In-school suspension or Out-of-school
suspension, or other disciplinary action.
o Potential consequences for Employees: formal reprimand to go in
employees record, financial compensation for any damages, other
disciplinary action, termination of employment.
Employees, students, or any user of the Internet or school network, whether
wireless or cabled, whether by school owned equipment or not, must agree to
these terms of use before gaining access to the Internet or school network.
