Natural Beauty of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a darling child of Nature. Nature has adorned her with unique
beauty. No other country on the world is so blessed with natural beauties
as Bangladesh. She is noted for her exquisite beauty of green fields, golden
crops of paddy and evergreen leaves of trees. The six seasons of the year
coming by turns has made her a wonderful land of heaven.
In summer, though we feel uncomfortable for extreme heat, yet we get
various kinds of sweet fruits in this season. After a long spell of hot weather,
the rainy season comes with showers to cool the earth. During the rainy
season the sky often remains overcast with thick black clouds that hover
across the sky close to the earth surface. The low-lying lands go under water
and look like a vast sheet of water. In autumn there is a play of hide and
seeks among the clouds. The sky in an autumn night studded with
innumerable stars appears to be a dreamland to the lookers. In late autumn
nature smile with the dew drops in the morning. In the winter fields full of
winter crops and golden paddy ready for reaping present a panoramic view.
After winter comes the spring with all its beautiful sights and sounds and
makes Bangladesh the queen of all beauties.
Every day we wake up by hearing birds chipping. The natural scenery of
village draws a general picture of thrilling. A little Jonaki Poka [one kind of
insect that has natural lights in her body] helps us to see our way in the
bamboo garden in the dark night. Our eyes are charmed to see many natural
beauties all around us. When we go near to the Padma, Meghna, Jamuna,
Cornofuly rivers then our mind become fresh and we forget all of our
sorrows. The water lily blooms in the canal. White Lily is our national flower.
Being a riverine country, her rivers present different scenes at different times
of the year. Especially the rivers in the rainy season present an unbroken
view of variety of sights which amuses our eyes. Again the long sea-beach of
the Bay of Bengal at Kuakata, Patenga, and Coxs-bazar is worth seeing.
Each of her natural regions such as- Rangamati, Kaptai, Sylhet, Coxs-Bazar,
moinamoti, the Sundarbans etc are blessed with the most enchanting natural
beauty. The scenery of these places is so charming and attractive that there
is always a rush a tourists and visitors in these places from home and abroad
throughout the year.
No one can rally deny that Bangladesh is a matchless beauty spot on the
earth. Whoever sets foot on this land can never forget its beauty. I am proud
and happy to have been born in such a beautiful.

grow more fruits.

A CLEANER
A man who collects rubbish every day from our area is called rubbish
collector or a cleaner. He cleans our environment. He respects the work. To
collect rubbish, he has to go in different houses of the area where he lives.
Generally, he gets up early in the morning. Then he goes to collect the
rubbish that the people keep in front of their houses. Several times, the
rubbish becomes dirty but it does not give him any pain. He puts them in his
plastic bag and keeps them in a big dustbin. They work hard every day to
keep their area clean. If they become sick and cannot go to collect
the rubbish, the people fall in great trouble. The whole area becomes dirty
and unhygienic. The life of a cleaner is full of pain and suffering. He cannot
get proper food, shelter, cloth and education for his family. He leads an
unhappy life. He is unable to educate his children and take a proper
treatment. If he stops his working, the whole area will become dirty and
unhealthy. So we should respect him and his work. Besides, our government
should give him better salary.

FOOD PYRAMID
A food guide pyramid is a pyramid shaped guide of healthy foods divided into
sections to show the recommended intake for each food group. The first food
pyramid was published in Sweden in 1974.Basically food pyramid is a chart
to show the five groups of foods. There are different types of foods, which we
usually take, in each group. The chart also tells us how much of each group
of food we should eat. If we observe at the base or the bottom of the
pyramid we will find different types of foods; like breads, cereals, rice,
noodles, potatoes, etc. These types if foods are very helpful and healthy. So,
we should eat plenty of these foods. Then in the next group we can see some
fresh fruits and vegetables. We must eat them regularly. As we go up the
pyramid, we find dairy products like milk, cheese, yogurt and meat, fish,
beans, nuts and eggs. We should eat these food items moderately because
they are important for health but we dont need too much of them. And at
the top we have fats, oils, sweets, etc. and we should eat very little of these
foods because they are unhealthy.
