The leadership shadow
experience taught me that
it is important to be
assertive in order to be an
effective leader. I know
that being assertive means
protecting your personal
rights while also
acknowledging the rights
of others. I witnessed
firsthand that not
everyone will necessarily
agree with the decisions of

important that the leader
