Ms. Hamda gave mea story to read for the children, but I faced so many challenges
and tried to be optimistic afterwards. At first, I intended to just play the story for
them but when I thought it through, I changed the plan and decided to tell them
myself. Despite me trying to break it down into simpler words, making it easier to
understand, and using materials to make it fun, I still had a very hard time keeping
the students engaged.
I would like to be more prepared for the next time I teach, this experience taught
me about thinking every step through and not changing it beforehand. I would also
like to develop my Teacher Voice.
