AIM:
To equip the students with the Mode of conduct of Ethics and a broad overview about the
legal
aspects of Ethics and importance of containerization and allied
business
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
To provide the knowledge about fundamentals of shipping management
o equip the students with the knowledge of shipping, ship building and repair
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The students would be acquainted with the basics of shipping management
The students will learn the skills needed for shipping industry
COURSE DELIVERY:
Facilitate the students through theory and practical applications. To develop true interest in
the
subject three text books and several reference books are prescribed as the sources of study
material. The teaching methodologies will include lecture, discussions through PPTs, Video
show, Assignment writing and seminars. Students can approach the course facilitator for
any
clarifications in the subject and also refer relevant sources for their assignment and
seminars.
