    116/16 Mrs. C Teacher LA Elementary School Dear Mrs. C: ‘Thank you very much for giving me the unique opportunity of being able to observe you in your classroom. Right from the start you welcomed me and gave me opportunities to help out in your classroom. Over the two months that I was with you, I saw how much time and effort you put in each day to make your classroom one that was fun and engaging. I enjoyed watching the ‘morning meetings you held and being included in them! I could see how much your students admired and respected you as well. I learned how assertive I need to be when I have my own classroom in order to keep my students focused. Specifically, I saw how you came up with ‘easier ways in which the children could add or subtract numbers or how they could spell out ‘words that they were reading. I loved witnessing the students’ happiness when they realized that they knew how to figure out a math problem or read a couple of sentences in their books. Another big thing you taught me was how to encourage the students to use their own minds instead of copying from others. I could tell that helped to improve the student’s confidence in their own abilities. T definitely learned important techniques from you that will help to show the students that learning is and can be fun! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback and help me out in your classroom, Most importantly, thank you for believing in me and allowing me to teach a lesson to your students on bullying. This experience as a whole has heightened my confidence in a classroom and as a prospective teacher. ‘The time I experienced in your classroom is one that I will never forget nor will I forget the knowledge you shared with ‘me about your experiences in becoming a teacher. ‘Thank you again for allowing me to come into your classroom and experience all your hard work and effort.
