Mr. Alterman:
As you are aware,this office represents the Township of Barnegat. We have a conf scheduled on Monday at my office
to discuss the potential contract. I previously asked you by letter, and confirmed again with your office yesterday, to
provide me with a written proposal that we could review before the meeting on Monday. Your client and presumably
your office has our last proposal. It makes no sense to show up on Monday without being provided the opportunity
to review your clients' new proposal.
If we do not receive a written proposal from your office by tomorrow, Thursday, at 4:30 pm we will need to cancel the
meeting on Monday. Please advise.

When we scheduled the meeting at my office on Friday, November 11, 2016 to discuss the
negotiations, I did not have in mind the fact that this is the celebration of Veterans Day. All municipal
employees are off that day.
I therefore we suggest that we meet in my office on November 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Please
confirm that it is acceptable.
Again, however, in order for the meeting to be fruitful it is necessary that we receive from you a
writing indicating your client's position on what they believe to be the outstanding issues.
