- Math Process Standard(s): used to ensure students learning and best teaching practices for mathematics. Follows
this, and teaches students the best way.
6. Academic Vocabulary: (Words that will need additional instruction in order to strengthen student understanding in
contextual formats.) Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters. Greater than, less than, equal to.
7. Examples/Activities/Tasks: (What learning experiences will students engage in? How will you use these learning
experiences or their student products as formative assessment opportunities? Provide a balance of on-demand and
process writing opportunities for students to draw evidence from the texts to produce a clear and coherent writing that
informs, explains, or makes an argument in various written forms.) Students will engage in-group work to create whole
dollar amounts, as well as drawing on white boards and doing worksheets to create whole dollar amounts. These learning
experiences teach students in interactive ways to stimulate their learning. The teacher shows coin amounts and students
and the students are supposed to write which coins make a while dollar.

all the types of money so all students have take home coins for any at homework. I will also provide worksheets for at
home practice.

differentiation for all students can be provided? Be as specific as possible.) For English learners, I will provide worksheets
in their language, as well as English. For disabled learners, I will provide more hands on activities to fit their needs.
