CompuTrace in the BIOS: This security feature is one
of the best ways to recover a stolen device. If a device
is stolen and the hard drive replaced, CompuTrace can
reinstall itself from the BIOS and phone home to identify its location.
Biometric access control: Lenovo was also the first
company to put fingerprint readers on PCs, and weve
extended this protection to ThinkPad X1 devices. Biometric access enables IT to specify strong authentication
policies without frustrating end users with complicated
passwords. Workers use their fingerprint to log in, which
ensures only authorized users can access the system
while eliminating the risk of weak passwords, over-theshoulder password spying, and other threats.
Option to disable USB ports: One of the biggest security challenges for any IT organization is preventing
external and potentially malicious files and apps from

The X1 Carbon features a Windows 10 Pro operating system
and sixth-generation Intel i7-6600U with vPro for secure
device management. Employees stay productive anytime,
anywhere because the X1 Carbon comes with 4G LTE-A
the fastest, most advanced mobile broadband technology
available. An optional WiGig Dock will soon be available
with 2K display so users can wirelessly connect dual displays, audio devices, and more. The X1 Carbon is also Skype
for Business-certified and includes integrated speakers with
Dolby audio and an HD webcam, for simple, productive
conference calls and video chats. And with up to 10 hours
of battery life, users can stay connected and productive
without having to continually stop and recharge the device

Carbon includes the Touch Sensor Fingerprint Reader, which
is more reliable and accurate than typical swipe readers. This
Ultrabook also includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)

The ThinkPad X1 Yoga is an extremely thin and light
14-inch business 2-in-1 device. Designed for users who
need the flexibility of a tablet and laptop in one device, it
supports four flexible ways to work, present, create, and
connect through a 2K (2560 x 1440) touchscreen display.
Like the rest of the X1 family, this convertible Ultrabook
is thin, light, tough, and designed for power users who
push their mobile devices to the max. Although it weighs
just 2.8 lbs./1.27 kg, the X1 Yoga is built to endure extreme
wear and tear and is rigorously tested against military
specifications. The full-sized, backlit keyboard is spill-resistant and the keys retract automatically when the keyboard

efficiency in the power supply unit. Not only does this

Slim in profile, the display can be tilted forward or back

from -5 to 45 degreesto get the perfect viewing angle.
With an aluminum-alloy-crafted chassis thats just 0.43 in./
11 mm thin, like the rest of the ThinkPad X1 family, the
ThinkCentre X1 is extremely durable. In fact, its been
tested and proven to withstand 10 years of office dust! The
ThinkCentre X1 also features a single Display Port thats
both an input and an output for video. This means theres
no struggle to determine which port to use when connecting a second monitor, or using it as an external display for

TrackPointno mouse required. The 12-inch X1 Tablet is

life.1 The optional Productivity Module increases the number
of USB 3.0 ports to three and adds a full-sized HDMI port,
as well as a OneLink+ port for docking. Users can turn any
surface into a screen with the optional Presenter Module
(coming soon). This module includes an integrated Pico
projector that can create a 60-in. projection from about 2.5
feet/2 meters away. The high-resolution 2K (2160 x 1440)
display features widescreen IPS technology and an integrated, adjustable kickstand for viewing from any angle.
With the integrated speakers and Dolby surround sound technology, the X1 Tablet is also perfect for videoconferencing.

The X1 Tablet is available with robust security features like

a Touch-Sensor Fingerprint Reader and Discrete Trusted
