Description of how to implement in the class: Students will have the opportunity to research
famous mathematicians from the 19th and 20th century. They will use Inspiration to organize the
information they find about their family life, their mathematical life and life outside of mathematics.

Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This activity is at a LoTi level 4 because students are
making the choice of the mathematician they want to research and determining what information is
important when creating their graphic organizer.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *: Inspiration is a software in which students can
create graphic organizers. Students can customize font, color of the bubble and how it is arranged on
the page. This example is about the significance Gauss had on mathematics.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: If you dont want duplicates of any
mathematicians researched, then you can provide students with a list where they can sign up for one.
