OBJECTIVE
The student will be able to strike a ball using a paddle with the correct forehand technique by swinging the paddle low to high,
beginning with the paddle at the hip in a game of pickleball.
The student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of how to hold a paddle correctly in a game of pickleball.

Skill Execution: Student demonstrates correct form when striking with forehand cues
Decision making: Student is able to differentiate between which striking method they should use as the ball approaches (forehand vs backhand)
Base: Student will return to their base
Recording Procedures:
Use a tally to mark the observed category
Mark each players responses during the game. If the student you are evaluating strikes the ball using a forehand or backhand be sure to mark
whether the player made an appropriate (A) or inappropriate (IA) decision and whether the underhand ground strokes were executed efficietly (E)

Student executed skill correctly the majority of the time he received the ball.
Student was able to decide which type of hit was most appropriate when receiving the ball.
Student did a good job returning to base almost each time the ball was played. Would sometimes forget, but with a cue reminder, he would
perform the skill several times after.

Execution and utilization of skills were proficient
