The teacher will explain the scientific
process, going through the all the
steps. She will explain hypothesis,
observation, data, and
experimentation. The students will be
taking notes on a fill in the blank
worksheet. Once the lesson is taught
(by powerpoint), the teacher will then
divide the class up into groups of five
or six and pass out the IPads. The
students will then be performing an
experiment while one records it on the
Ipad with the app Imotion Hd. They will
all be doing the same experiment,
which will be given by the teacher.
When they have recorded them, the
class will then get together as a whole
and watch them. They will compare

on the lesson which will involve:
fractions, how to multiply/divide
them as well as mixed numbers and
how to solve multistep practical
problems. The students will take
notes for future use. The smart
board will be used, so the students
could go up to the board and
practice. The teacher will already
have some activities set up on the
board. The teacher will call up
students randomly so everyone gets
a turn with the board. Once the
students feel comfortable with
fractions, they will get on the iPads.
