materials) to find important contributions and dates
Step 2: find an available computer to use
Step 3: log onto timeglider.com
Step 4: make a free account using a school email
Step 5: click Create a new timeline to begin making the presentation
Step 6: click create an event to create a new event along the timeline,
each time giving the event a title, description, as well as an image.
Repeat this step as many times as nessesary.
Step 7: save the timeline as well as the URL

To make presentations on historical events, students could make their
own timelines and to introduce themselves to one another
Negatives: Challenging to get the tool to look right, dates and times
were often on top of one another making it hard to view, hard to set up
new events, tool was not very user friendly
Positives: is the tool allows the user to spread the events out giving the
view an accurate depiction of relative time between events, allows the
use of images associated with the event, free to use, engages students
more than a lecture or book

Positives: allows students to put their ideas on screen, allows them to be
creative, allows students to interact with each others work.
Negatives: handwriting can be difficult using the tool, not phone/iphone
friendly, on computer makes you use mouse instead of touchscreen on
touchscreen computers

Positives: easy to add students to the classroom, free to use, parents can
use the tool as well, allows students to interact in a technical setting
Negatives: not mobile friendly, could be complicated for lower level
students to use, hard to find join codes.
