Basketball dribbling

for task

Set Induction:
Today we are going to
work on dribbling with
basketballs, I need you
all to form groups of 2,
if you do not have a
partner you will join a
team.

Task 1
Dribbling. Students will
dribble the basketball
from one end line to the
other. The objective is
to get the students
engaged and prepared
for the next activity.
They will dribble from
one cone to the other
and then pass the ball
to their partner.

Task 2For this activity the


students are dribbling
but this time with a
tennis ball in their hand.
This will help them
focus on the dribbling
motion and not allowing
the tennis ball to fall to
the ground. Relay race
will be included with this
activity.

make it more interesting
they will dribble to the
endline and pick up a
cone at a time, then the
next person in line will
dribble and pick up a
cone. The team with the
most cones wins.

dribble the
