Improving the GPS ASET SURVEI

1. Design for a small screen size (use small tablet size while developing, not
a large laptop screen) --> not yet
2. Map interaction Ruben
a. Follow me to always show current location (is there a leaflet
extension for that?) + mark current location very clear, use RED
color and different symbol (pin?)
b. Generic map function: add/remove map layer as extra background
(e.g. lidar survey result, GPS track?)
c. Should show all bangunan and ruas of the DI, including the
sumber(s) that belong to the DI.
d. User can select a bangunan on the map as starting point of
saluran / ruas (when no saluran / ruas is active)
e. User can select a bangunan on the map as end point of the active
saluran / ruas
f. User can select an active saluran and ruas from the map (this
selects the linked start bangunan as well)
g. The coordinates of the ruas sections of the active saluran should be
clearly shown, the active ruas should be highlighted (e.g. draw the
line in white with width 3 pixels and the same line in RED with 1
pixel width.
h. User can correct coordinates of bangunan on the map by moving
Bangunan. The ruas should remain connected when moving
bangunan!
i. Add /Delete bangunan in the map as well (or only for data edit
screen?)
j. The coordinates of the active ruas should be editable by moving /
add / delete but only AFTER the RUAS is complete with end
bangunan (or only for data edit screen?
3. Test compatibility of the browser / tablet combinations, why do some
combinations not work? What does this mean for us? I suggest pak Lutfi
and Ruben work closely together on this. @Ruben: find the best
compatibility checker (if it costs some money this is not important). If
tablets do not work, then perhaps we have to use smart phones????
Things to test in the field and while developing:
a. Compatibility of screen size / browser / device combinations
b. Can the user have a clear overview what he is doing and what must
be done next, so he is in control
c. Are the screen objects sufficiently responsive for the size of the
screen
d. Accuracy of adding GPS coordinates
e. Adding photos (did not work on my tablet)
f. Size of the buttons (use button-lg in bootstrap terminology?)
I tried using Firefox and Chrome (is working), Yandex can not share
camera
4. Edit screen interaction:
a. Show items in the order that they have been added and make each
item auto-collapse (only item can be open for editing). The item
should show the name of the object and have Delete and edit
button in the title to save space (I'm still improving for one

accordion open-close version fastly and Ruben is developing
the sample. You can try in the server. I deployed it yesterday
at PU office. But, still has problem for end saluran and
bangunan pelengkap. I solve it today, tomorrow I will deploy
it again in PU)
This way the list of objects the user sees is as follows: (done, still
need to filter bangunan for certain bangunan. Eg: Bangunan awal only show list of intake bangunan, bangunan in the middle - only
show list of bangunan that change a flow, and bangunan pelengkap
- only show list of bangunan pelengkap)
i. Start bangunan (either ADD new, or select a start bangunan
from the map)
ii.
Active saluran (button add / delete / cancel / save / edit)
iii.
Active Ruas (button add / delete / cancel / save / edit)
iv.
0 or more non flow changing bangunans added along the
saluran (each with button add / delete / cancel / save / edit)
v. End bangunan when end bangunan is added or selected
from the map automatic: end of ruas and/or saluran
vi. After a ruas is complete, but not yet at a flow changing
bangunan (end of saluran), automatically add a new ruas for
the user.
vii. After a saluran is completed, automatically initialize with the
current End bangunan as the start (so the user can just
continue surveying). User can of course always select
another bangunan from the map or add a new start
bangunan instead.
viii.
Of the list at one time only ONE object is open, when is open is also
editable
The camera should only be active WHEN FOTO bangunan is open for
editing. Now it seems to be open continuously on my laptop, if that
also happens with a tablet it will drain the battery super fast. (not
yet)
Can we set the camera sharing and location sharing with explicit
buttons, so we are sure it is OK? On my laptop I get a question to
share the camera many times. I know is a security issue too, but
can we improve this behavior? (not yet)
Accuracy of the GPS should be a text that is visible at all times, it
should become bold and RED when it is more than 10m! (not yet)
For the ruas, do not show the coordinates. These are already visible
on the map! (done)
In GPS ASET SURVEI mode the dimension data should not use the
up/down combi button because it is too small. Either we should
have two separate bigger buttons (with an appropriate step size
set) or a dropdown combobox with some preset values.
