Dear Kinder Families,


We are so proud of all of the hard work our students did this semester! They adapted to new classroom
routines, studied new and interesting hands-on science topics, practiced their numbers and used new math
vocabulary, learned new and fundamental reading and writing skills, made new friends sang, danced, created and
had lots of fun!
Here we have compiled a list of activities for your child to work on and practice further over the holiday break.
Please see the schedule below for the list of activities and have fun working with your child during your days off
from school. These are suggestions and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask us before the break.
We look forward to your child returning back to school next semester, ready to learn and hope you will all have a
restful and enjoyable holiday break!

Prezadas Famlias do Kinder,
Estamos muito orgulhosas de todo o trabalho rduo que nossos alunos fizeram neste semestre! Eles se adaptaram
as novas rotinas de sala de aula, estudaram novos e interessantes tpicos de Cincias, praticaram seus nmeros e
usaram novos vocabulrios matemticos. Tambm aprenderam novas e fundamentais habilidades de leitura e
escrita, fizeram novos amigos, cantaram, danaram, criaram e se divertiram muito!
Aqui, ns compilamos uma lista de atividades para que seu filho(a) pratique mais durante as frias. Por favor, veja
a programao abaixo para a lista de atividades e divirta-se praticando com seu filho durante seus dias de folga
da escola. Estas so sugestes e se os Senhores tiverem alguma dvida, sintam-se vontade para nos perguntar
antes do recesso.
Estamos ansiosas com o retorno de seu(sua) filho(a) a escola no prximo semestre, pronto (a) para aprender
ainda mais e esperamos que todos tenham um recesso relaxante e agradvel!

a collection of things to count in your home for your child to count. Consider coins,
small rocks, or seeds. Make it fun! First add 5 objects to the Five frame (one object
in each square). Then 10 to the Ten frame. Then have them draw their collection of
objects on the next page . For a challenge, have them try writing the words &
numbers for the sentences below.
It is best (at this age) to have your children touch the materials for concrete
understanding, then draw for representational understanding. Thanks for your
partnership and happy counting!
