Kaya the Moonhunter is blast to play, She has so many angles of posible attack that I'l not tre of her anytime soon. Forced Bvolution is spectacular spel that makes Warpwoll or Pureblood even more ofa terror and can turn even an Argus into a superior killing machine to.se some of her spells, but Muzzle and Against the resilient epic Madrak, it might have serfed me better to find a way to have my beasts do the killing rather than sending in Kaya herself to do the job. Madrak’s ability to shrug off massive hits by removing expendable trolkin models near him makes him crazy tough. Epic Kaya is certainly deadly in melee, and it pays to play aggressively with her, Talso love the way her fest provides a round of unbelievable flexibility [ve seen what a Warpwolf ith Forced Evolution ean do, particularly including Primal from the Gorax, warping for strength, and gaining Ferocty from the Pureblood. THE HIGH RECLAIMER “GAMBIT” STYLE ‘When many players see a High Reclaimer army, they immediately think of a slow advancing hoard of Zealots, Flameguard, land warjacks behind a dense wall of magical smoke. A low-ARM wareaster or warlock can quickly find himself ‘the victim of Menoth's vengeanee after destroying a healthy ‘chunk of a Reclaimer! list. see KEY MODELS High Reclaimer, Guardian TO QUARTER MAGACINE: SHIFTING GEARS GRAND EXEMPLAR KREOSS “FAITH AND SACRIFICE” STYLE Ma choose to lean on models with greater players of Grand Exemplar Kreoss survivability than Knights Exemplar (sich as Vengers or Viltwon) oF models with greater melee threat ranges (such as Temple Flameguard) rather than stocking up on Knights and Errants, the Grand mplar's elite cadre, Such an army set definitely make sense ~ surviving Jong enough and/or charging far enough to take advantage of Strength of Arms. Then again, High Exemplar Gravus can turn the sacrifice ofthese bold knights into newfound strength. In a"Faith and Sacrifice-style Grand Exemplar Kreoss army, the combination of Sacrosanct and Grim Resolve guarantees that knigh sectfice is never in vain. Attackers both lose their action alter destroying these Exemplar and inyite the wrath of the High Exemplar through his powerful Requiem’s Prayer ability AA Faith and Sacrifice army can include survivable melee ‘combatants or models with noteworthy threat ranges, but the rnow-double drawback of destroying a Sacrosanet Exempl Brrant or triple drawback of destroying a Sucrosanet Knight Exemplar (don’t forget Bond of Brotherhood) balances out quite favorably with the loss of just one of Menoth’s faithful KEY MODELS Grand Exemplar Kreoss, Exemplars Errant, High Exemplar Gravus THE BUTCHER OF KHARDOV | “FINESSE” STYLE Many players do not expect any particular tactics from a Butcher of Khardov army so much as a lack thercof —more specifically, a lack of subtlety. The Butcher has no way to enhance movement or positioning or disrupt that of his enemies, s0 most Butcher armies have all the subtlety of a sledgehammer to the skull. Not that there is anything swrong with the straightforward approach, but such tactics are not abways the ideal tool for the job. Enemies that seek to thwart the straightforward offense with terrain or HORDES armies that create swamps oF woods oftheir ‘own require & new approach. ‘That is where a Woodsman of Khardow-style army can come in handy.
