worldview and will present in a visual medium of their choice. Following the completion
of each individual's worldviews, each will be hung around the room and students will do
a gallery walk to view each peers worldview (students will write their names on the back
of their project to ensure privacy of information). There will then be a class discussion by
comparing similarities and differences of their peers worldviews and why each might

next round will contain items students may not

recognize or are different from what they
might be used to. Students I'll discuss what
they think it is and its purpose or why it might
be different. Will expose students to
differences and how our worldviews influence
what is recognizable to us what items purposes
are.
In small groups, each group will receive a
picture. They will discuss what they think is
happening in the picture and what the picture
might be able. Will relate to how context and
worldview is important to understand as it can
change the meaning or importance of an image
and can tell us a different story about what is
happening.
Students will write a SEE-I (summarize,
expand, exemplify, imagery) for the term
Worldview. They will summarize what a
worldview is and will then expand their
summary. They will also provide an example
of what a worldview is and an image/analogy
of worldview. This will allow students to show
their depth of knowledge and understanding of
the key term of the unit: Worldview.
After watching the movie, students (in small
groups) will each roll a die and will then
answer the corresponding question based on
the number they rolled on the die. They will
then discuss the question as a group.
Throughout the unit there will be several small
group discussions in order to foster discussion,
to help students understand issues they are
confused about and to have an opportunity to
learn from their peers, while fostering
communication amongst students.
Students will create a visual
image/representation of their own personal
worldview and will recognize the factors that
influence their worldviews. Students will be
able to see peers worldviews and can discuss
how they vary and what makes them the same
in order to find connections and to understand
that differences are okay.
