Before going into detail about anything in particular I would like to establish something. I
would like for all of you in this room to know and beware of something. I have a question I
would like to ask. Are any of you members of the electoral college? No? Anyone? Neither am I.
Then, theoretically, it would be fair to infer that you nor I do not directly elect the next president
of the United States to office. I know what you are probably thinking. And I am here to tell you
that you are wrong! Your vote most certainly does have an impact and your voice is heard on
election day. Many will argue that our system is flawed (and or rigged), but this is an inaccurate
assumption. We must embrace our right to vote and practice it with diligence because it is our
civic duty to our democratic republic, our great nation, our home, our country, our states. It
would be an injustice to the forefathers of this country not to execute your right to vote.
Thousands of men and women struggled over many years and even gave their lives for the right
to vote. Roughly only 1/3 people will practice this right. Be sure you are one of those people.
Looking back, I understand the forefathers reasoning to have an electoral college. The most
efficient way to communicate in the 1800s was to send a man on horse with a piece of paper
containing information and hoping that he did not die of dysentery or of an Indian attack before
reaching his destination and passing the information along. In todays modern society, the 21 st
century, we have the world at our fingertips. The power of the internet and media have
revolutionized the way we as humans receive and research information. Also, as my high school
economics teacher put it: It must be understood that The United States of America is one crazy
experiment (that involved tremendous risk) that actually went right. 238 years later, we are still
here, alive and well.
Now with that being said.
Within the history of the United States, we as patriots to this great nation, have yet to
witness such a campaign for the presidency, in which both of the main party candidates have
displayed unprofessionalism, an abundance of scandals (ranging from sexual assault to risking
national secrets), and created a strong sense of division with citizens, until present day. It is
crucial that this fall we as citizens to this democratic republic exorcise our right to vote. The
practice of not voting completely utterly defeats the purpose of a democracy. This especially
applies & is important for this specific presidential election in particular. Were living history,
and the way you vote this election will forever affect the history and fate of the United States.
When deciding on which candidate to pledge your vote to, many factors and determinants
come into account. There are various arguments & methods as to how one should go about

selecting a candidate for the presidency. To truly cast an accurate vote, you, the voter must select
a candidate that most closely aligns with your political viewpoints and morals. In order to do so
one must analyze, investigate, and scrutinize the candidates, therefore voting for the most
suitable one. By doing this you the voter are making an informed and cautious selection.
Now back to the 2016 presidential campaign. Wow. Wow. Like damn. Really America?
This is the best we got? I thought this shit was a joke a year ago when Mr. Donald J. Trump
announced his plan to run for office. And Hillary Clinton? Shouldnt she be in prison for a
couple of things? It is very difficult to decide between a shit-sandwich and a knuckle-sandwich.
Many argue Hillary only represents her wall street thugs and a Trump presidency would be a
large scale madoffian ponzi type scheme. All jokes aside, I am here to tell you that although it
may not seem like it, there is in fact a lesser of two evils.
On a personal level it is sickening to see a false hero (who he himself represents
everything that is wrong with capitalism) captivate and gain the support of millions of my fellow
American brothers and sisters. It is there right to follow and support him, and I applaud them for
practicing their 1st amendment (freedom of speech and or freedom of thought). I also condemn
them for praising and following a white supremacist, who bashes people of foreign origins. This
country was founded by immigrants, for immigrants. It is absurd and complete bullshit to use
racial scapegoating in order to gain followers. To bash immigrants is to bash the founding fathers
of this nation. I dont know about yawl but I am definitely not down to let Donald Trump be my
Hitler. No sir. I, as a constituent to this nation will do everything in my power to not let Donald
Trump be the next commander in chief of my country.
Mrs. Clinton is no saint, but she is a million times more fit for office than Mr. Trump. She
has over 30 years of experience in politics, and during her husbands terms of office the United
States experienced economic boom and prosperity. I have something for my fellow Bernie
Sanders supporting comrades as well. If Hillary Clinton is elected, there is a strong likelihood
that senator Bernie Sanders will head the budget committee in congress. Im to not sure about
yawl, but free college sounds like a great fuckin idea to me. A vote for Hillary, is one step closer
to our goal of an affordable higher education for all Americans nationwide.
I personally cannot make you vote for Hillary, or even Trump for that matter. My fellow
Americans, I only ask that you do one thing this fall and that is vote. Vote because it is your
right, vote because you care about this great nation, vote because thousands have sacrificed for it,
vote to be heard, vote to vote. Now, in the great words of Compto..excuse me I mean
Bompton, California rapper, YG, fuck Donald Trump.
