Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of

about 10m. Maximum communication range may vary
depending on obstacles (human body, metal, wall, etc.) or
electromagnetic environment.
The aerial is built into the unit as illustrated in the dotted line
(Fig. ). The sensitivity of the Bluetooth communications
will improve by turning the direction of the built-in aerial to
the connected Bluetooth device. When obstacles are
between the aerial of the connected device and the built-in
aerial of this unit, noise or audio dropout may occur, or
communications may be disabled.
BLUETOOTH communications may be disabled, or noise or
audio dropout may occur under the following conditions.
There is a human body between the unit and the
BLUETOOTH device.
This situation may be improved by placing the BLUETOOTH
device facing the aerial of the unit.
There is an obstacle, such as metal or wall, between the
unit and the BLUETOOTH device.
A device using 2.4GHz frequency, such as a WiFi device,
cordless telephone, or microwave oven, is in use near this
unit.
Because BLUETOOTH devices and WiFi (IEEE802.11b/g/n) use
the same frequency (2.4 GHz), microwave interference may
occur resulting in noise or audio dropout or communications
being disabled if this unit is used near a WiFi device. In such
a case, perform the following.
Use this unit at least 10m away from the WiFi device.
If this unit is used within 10m of a WiFi device, turn off the
WiFi device.
Install this unit and the Bluetooth device as near to each
other as possible.
Microwaves emitting from a Bluetooth device may affect
the operation of electronic medical devices. Turn off this unit
and other Bluetooth devices in the following locations, as it
may cause an accident:
where inflammable gas is present, in a hospital, or a petrol
station
near automatic doors or a fire alarm
Do not use the unit on an airplane.
Radio waves may affect instruments, causing an accident due
to malfunction.
This unit supports security capabilities that comply with the
Bluetooth standard to provide a secure connection when
the Bluetooth wireless technology is used, but security may
not be enough depending on the setting. Be careful when
communicating using Bluetooth wireless technology.
We do not take any responsibility for the leakage of

Connection with all Bluetooth devices cannot be
guaranteed.

On charging the unit
This unit can be charged using USB only. Personal computer

with USB port is required for charging.
This unit cannot be turned on, nor can the BLUETOOTH
function be used, during charging.
If you do not use the unit for a long time, the rechargeable
battery may not be able to keep sufficient charge. The
battery will be able to keep a charge properly after
repeatedly discharging and charging several times.
If you store the unit for a long time, charge the battery once
every half year to prevent over-discharge.
If the length of time you can use the unit became extremely
short, the rechargeable battery should be replaced with a
new one. Please contact your nearest Sony dealer for a
battery replacement.
Note on static electricity
Static electricity accumulated in the body may cause mild

tingling in your ears. To minimize the effect, wear clothes
made from natural materials.
If the unit does not operate properly
Reset the unit (Fig. ).

Push the RESET button with a pointed object, such as a pin,
until you feel a click. The unit will be reset. Pairing
information is not deleted.
If
the problem persists even after the resetting operation
above, initialize the unit as follows.
Turn off the unit by pressing the POWER button for more than
2seconds. Then, press and hold the POWER button and the
/ button together for more than 7seconds. The
indicator (blue) flashes 4times, and the unit is reset to the
factory settings. All pairing information is deleted.
After the unit is initialized, it may not connect to your iPhone
or computer. In this case, delete the pairing information of
the unit from the iPhone or computer, and then pair them
again.
Others
Do not place this unit in a place exposed to humidity, dust,

soot or steam, subject to direct sunlight, or in a car waiting at
a traffic signal. It may cause a malfunction.
Using
the Bluetooth device may not function on mobile
phones, depending on radio wave conditions and location

where the equipment is being used.
If you experience discomfort after using the Bluetooth
device, stop using the Bluetooth device immediately.
Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Listening with this unit at high volume may affect your
hearing. For traffic safety, do not use this unit while driving or
cycling.

Communications Bluetooth
La technologie Bluetooth sans fil fonctionne dans un rayon

denviron 10m. La porte maximale de la communication
peut varier en fonction de la prsence dobstacles
(personnes, objets mtalliques, murs, etc.) ou de
lenvironnement lectromagntique.
Lantenne est intgre lappareil et situe lendroit indiqu
par les pointills (Fig. ). La sensibilit des communications
Bluetooth samliore en orientant lantenne intgre vers le
priphrique de rception Bluetooth connect. Lorsque des
obstacles se trouvent entre lantenne du priphrique
connect et lantenne intgre de cet appareil, des parasites
ou des pertes de niveau sonore peuvent se produire, ou bien
les communications peuvent tre dsactives.
Les communications BLUETOOTH peuvent tre dsactives,
ou des parasites ou des pertes de niveau sonore peuvent se
produire dans les conditions suivantes.
Une personne se trouve entre lappareil et le priphrique
BLUETOOTH.
Pour remdier ce problme, placez le priphrique
BLUETOOTH en face de lantenne de lappareil.
Un obstacle, par exemple un objet mtallique ou un mur, se
trouve entre lappareil et le priphrique BLUETOOTH.
Un appareil utilisant une frquence de 2,4GHz, par
exemple un priphrique Wi-Fi, un tlphone sans fil ou un

Nutilisez pas lappareil bord dun avion.
Les ondes radios peuvent affecter les instruments et

Cet appareil prend en charge les caractristiques de scurit
conformes la norme Bluetooth pour offrir une connexion

propos du chargement de lappareil
Cet appareil ne peut tre charg que via USB. Un PC quip

dun port USB est ncessaire pour effectuer le chargement.
Lors du chargement, cet appareil ne peut pas tre mis sous
tension et la fonction BLUETOOTH ne peut pas tre utilise.
Si vous nutilisez pas lappareil pendant une dure prolonge,
il se peut que la batterie rechargeable ne tienne plus la
charge. La batterie pourra de nouveau tenir la charge aprs
avoir t charge puis dcharge plusieurs fois.
Si lappareil doit tre stock pendant une dure prolonge,
chargez la batterie tous les six mois afin dviter un
dchargement excessif.
Si la dure dutilisation de lappareil devient trs brve,
remplacez la batterie rechargeable par une neuve. Veuillez
contacter votre revendeur Sony le plus proche pour obtenir
une nouvelle batterie.
Remarque sur llectricit statique
Llectricit statique accumule dans le botier peut entraner

de lgers picotements au niveau des oreilles. Pour en
minimiser les effets, portez des vtements en fibres
naturelles.
Si lappareil ne fonctionne pas correctement
Par la prsente Sony Corp. dclare que lappareil quipement

Rinitialisez lappareil (Fig. ).

Appuyez sur le bouton RESET avec un objet pointu, tel quune
pingle, jusqu entendre un clic. Lappareil est rinitialis. Les
informations sur le pairage ne sont pas supprimes.
Si le problme persiste aprs la procdure de rinitialisation
dcrite ci-dessus, initialisez lappareil comme suit.

Une fois lappareil initialis, la connexion avec votre iPhone
ou votre ordinateur pourra tre impossible. Dans ce cas,
supprimez les informations de pairage lappareil de
liPhone ou de lordinateur et effectuez de nouveau le
pairage.

Acerca de la carga de la unidad
Esta unidad solo puede cargarse en un puerto USB. Para

realizar la carga se necesita un ordenador con puerto USB.
Esta unidad no puede encenderse, ni puede utilizarse la
funcin BLUETOOTH, durante la carga.
Si no utiliza la unidad durante un largo periodo de tiempo,
puede que la batera recargable se descargue rpidamente.
La batera volver a funcionar de forma correcta despus de
cargarla y descargarla varias veces.
Cargue la batera cada seis meses para prevenir una descarga
excesiva si va a guardar la unidad durante un largo periodo
de tiempo.
Si el tiempo de funcionamiento de la unidad es demasiado
corto, cambie la batera recargable por una nueva. Pngase
en contacto con el distribuidor Sony ms cercano para
cambiar la batera.

Si la unidad no funciona correctamente
Restablezca la unidad (Fig. ).

Pulse el botn RESET con un objeto puntiagudo, como una
aguja, hasta que note un clic. La unidad se restablecer. La
informacin de emparejamiento no se borra.
Si el problema persiste incluso despus de haber
restablecido el funcionamiento, inicialice la unidad como se
indica a continuacin.
Apague la unidad pulsando el botn POWER durante ms de
2segundos. A continuacin, mantenga pulsados los botones
/ simultneamente durante ms de
POWER y
7segundos. El indicador (azul) parpadea 4veces y se
restablece la configuracin de fbrica de la unidad. Toda la
informacin de emparejamiento se borra.
Puede que la unidad no se conecte a su iPhone u ordenador
despus de inicializarla. En ese caso, borre la informacin de

Acerca de las comunicaciones Bluetooth
La tecnologa inalmbrica Bluetooth funciona en un rango

de aproximadamente 10m. El rango mximo de
comunicacin puede variar en funcin de los obstculos
(personas, objetos metlicos, paredes, etc.) o del entorno
electromagntico.
La antena est incorporada en la unidad como se muestra
con la lnea de puntos (Fig. ). La sensibilidad de las
comunicaciones Bluetooth mejorar al girar la antena
incorporada en la unidad hacia el dispositivo Bluetooth
conectado. Cuando existan obstculos entre la antena del
dispositivo conectado y la antena incorporada en la unidad,
es posible que se produzca ruido o interrupcin de audio, o
que se deshabiliten las comunicaciones.
Las comunicaciones BLUETOOTH pueden deshabilitarse y
puede producirse ruido o interrupcin de audio en las
siguientes condiciones.
Hay una persona entre la unidad y el dispositivo
BLUETOOTH.
Esta situacin puede mejorarse orientando el dispositivo
BLUETOOTH hacia la antena de la unidad.
Hay un obstculo como, por ejemplo, un objeto metlico o
una pared entre la unidad y el dispositivo BLUETOOTH.
Se est utilizando un dispositivo con una frecuencia de

Je nach dem Gert, zu dem eine Verbindung hergestellt
werden soll, kann es eine Weile dauern, bis die
Kommunikation startet.
Hinweis zum Laden des Gerts
Dieses Gert kann nur ber USB geladen werden. Zum Laden
ist ein PC mit USB-Anschluss erforderlich.
Whrend des Ladens kann dieses Gert weder eingeschaltet
noch kann die BLUETOOTH-Funktion verwendet werden.
Falls Sie das Gert lngere Zeit nicht verwenden, ist der Akku
mglicherweise nicht ausreichend geladen. Der Akku kann
die Ladung nach mehrfachem Laden und Entladen aufrecht
erhalten.
Falls Sie das Gert lngere Zeit lagern, laden Sie den Akku
einmal in einem halben Jahr auf, um ihn vor Tiefentladung zu
schtzen.
Falls die Zeitdauer, in der Sie das Gert verwenden knnen,
immer krzer wird, sollte der Akku durch einen neuen ersetzt
werden. Fr den Austausch des Akkus, wenden Sie sich bitte
an Ihren Sony-Hndler.
Hinweis zur statischen Elektrizitt
Statische Elektrizitt, mit der sich der Krper aufldt, kann zu

einem leichten Kribbeln in den Ohren fhren. Um diesen
Effekt zu minimieren, sollten Sie Kleidung aus Naturstoffen
tragen.
Wenn das Gert nicht richtig funktioniert
Setzen Sie das Gert zurck (Abb. ).

Drcken Sie die Taste RESET mit einem spitzen Gegenstand,
z. B. mit einer Nadel, bis Sie ein Klicken spren. Das Gert
wird zurckgesetzt. Die Pairing-Informationen werden nicht
gelscht.
Wenn das Problem auch nach dem oben beschriebenen
Zurcksetzen bestehen bleibt, initialisieren Sie das Gert wie
folgt.
Schalten Sie das Gert ab, indem Sie die Taste POWER mehr
als 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt halten. Halten Sie dann die
/ gleichzeitig mehr als
Taste POWER und die Taste
7Sekunden lang gedrckt. Die (blaue) Anzeige blinkt 4-mal
und das Gert wird auf die Werkseinstellungen
zurckgesetzt. Alle Pairing-Informationen werden gelscht.
Nach der Initialisierung des Gerts, kann sich das Gert
eventuell nicht mit Ihrem iPhone oder Computer verbinden.
Lschen Sie in diesem Fall die Pairing-Informationen des
Gerts von Ihrem iPhone oder Computer und paaren Sie
diese dann erneut.
Sonstiges
Legen Sie dieses Gert nicht an einen Ort, an dem es

Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Ru oder Dampf oder direkten
Sonnenstrahlen ausgesetzt ist, und verwenden Sie es nicht
im Auto beim Warten an einer Ampel. Andernfalls kann es zu
Fehlfunktionen kommen.
Je nach dem Zustand der Radiowellen und dem Ort, an dem
die Gerte verwendet werden, funktioniert das BluetoothGert u. U. nicht mit Mobiltelefonen.
Wenn Sie sich nach dem Verwenden des Bluetooth-Gerts
nicht wohl fhlen, verwenden Sie das Bluetooth-Gert auf
keinen Fall weiter. Sollte das Problem bestehen bleiben,
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Sony-Hndler.
Wenn Sie mit diesem Gert bei hoher Lautstrke Musik hren,
kann es zu Gehrschden kommen. Verwenden Sie dieses
Gert aus Grnden der Verkehrssicherheit nicht beim Fhren
von Kraftfahrzeugen oder beim Fahrradfahren.

Bluetooth-Kommunikation
Die Reichweite der Bluetooth-Funktechnologie betrgt ca.

10m. Die maximale Kommunikationsreichweite kann je nach
Hindernissen (Personen, Metall, Wnde usw.) oder der
elektromagnetischen Umgebung variieren.
Die Antenne ist wie mit der gepunkteten Linie dargestellt in
das Gert integriert (Abb. ). Sie knnen die Empfindlichkeit
der Bluetooth-Kommunikation verbessern, indem Sie die
integrierte Antenne in Richtung des verbundenen
Bluetooth-Gerts drehen. Wenn sich Hindernisse zwischen
der Antenne des verbundenen Gerts und der integrierten
Antenne dieses Gerts befinden, knnen Strrauschen oder
Audio-Aussetzer auftreten oder die Kommunikation
deaktiviert werden.
Unter den folgenden Bedingungen knnen die BLUETOOTHKommunikation deaktiviert werden oder Strrauschen oder
Audio-Aussetzer auftreten.
Es befindet sich eine Person zwischen dem Gert und dem
BLUETOOTH-Gert.
Diese Situation kann verbessert werden, wenn das
BLUETOOTH-Gert in Richtung der Seite des Gerts, an der
sich die Antenne befindet, gestellt wird.
Zwischen dem Gert und dem BLUETOOTH-Gert befindet
sich ein Hindernis, wie z. B. Metall oder eine Wand.
Ein Gert mit 2,4-GHz-Frequenz, wie z. B. ein Wi-Fi-Gert,
ein schnurloses Telefon oder ein Mikrowellenherd, wird in
der Nhe dieses Gerts verwendet.
Da BLUETOOTH-Gerte und Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n) dieselbe
Frequenz verwenden (2,4GHz), kann Mikrowelleninterferenz
auftreten, wodurch es zu Strrauschen oder AudioAussetzern oder deaktivierter Kommunikation kommen kann,
wenn dieses Gert neben einem Wi-Fi-Gert verwendet wird.
Gehen Sie in einem solchen Fall folgendermaen vor.
Verwenden Sie dieses Gert in einem Abstand von
mindestens 10m vom Wi-Fi-Gert.
Wenn dieses Gert innerhalb von 10m Entfernung von
einem Wi-Fi-Gert verwendet wird, schalten Sie das
Wi-Fi-Gert aus.

Informatie over het opladen van het toestel
Dit toestel kan alleen via USB worden opgeladen. Voor het
opladen heeft u een computer met USB-poort nodig.
Dit toestel kan tijdens het laden niet worden ingeschakeld,
noch kan de BLUETOOTH-functie worden gebruikt.
Als u het toestel langere tijd niet gebruikt, is het mogelijk dat
de oplaadbare batterij niet voldoende opgeladen blijft. De
batterij kan voldoende opgeladen blijven na herhaaldelijk
ontladen en laden.
Als u het toestel langere tijd wegplaatst, laadt u de batterij
eenmaal per jaar om overontlading te voorkomen.
Als de tijd waarin u het toestel kunt gebruiken uiterst kort
werd, moet de herlaadbare batterij door een nieuwe worden

Reset het toestel (Afb. ).
Druk op de RESET-knop met een puntig voorwerp, zoals een
pen, tot u een klik hoort. Het toestel wordt gereset.
Koppelingsgegevens worden niet verwijderd.
Als het probleem ook na het resetten aanhoudt, initialiseert u
het toestel als volgt.
Schakel het toestel uit door gedurende meer dan 2 seconden
op de POWER-knop te duwen. Houd vervolgens tegelijkertijd
/-knop langer dan 7 seconden
de POWER-knop en
ingedrukt. De indicator (blauw) knippert 4keer en het toestel
wordt naar de fabrieksinstellingen teruggezet. Alle
koppelingsgegevens worden verwijderd.
Zodra het toestel is genitialiseerd, maakt het mogelijk geen
verbinding met uw iPhone of computer. Verwijder in dit geval
de koppelingsinformatie van de iPhone of computer en
koppel de toestellen opnieuw.
Overigen
Zet dit toestel niet op een plaats waar het wordt blootgesteld
aan vochtigheid, stof, roet, stoom of direct zonlicht of in een
auto die wacht voor het stoplicht. Dit kan een storing
veroorzaken.
De Bluetooth-functie van mobiele telefoons werkt mogelijk
niet, afhankelijk van radiogolven en de locatie waar het
apparaat wordt gebruikt.
Als u ongemakken ondervindt na het gebruik van een
Bluetooth-apparaat, moet u meteen stoppen met het
gebruik van het Bluetooth-apparaat. Als het probleem
daarmee niet is verholpen, raadpleegt u de dichtstbijzijnde
Sony-handelaar.
Wanneer u dit toestel beluistert met een te hoog volume, kan
uw gehoor worden beschadigd. Voor veiligheid in het verkeer
mag u dit apparaat niet gebruiken tijdens het autorijden of
fietsen.
Plaats geen voorwerpen op dit toestel en oefen geen druk uit
op het apparaat, omdat het apparaat hierdoor kan vervormen
als het lange tijd wordt opgeborgen.
Stel het toestel niet bloot aan sterke schokken.
Reinig het toestel met een zachte, droge doek.

Laat het toestel niet in een gootsteen of een andere

Informatie over Bluetooth-communicatie
Bluetooth draadloze technologie werkt binnen een bereik

van ongeveer 10m. Het maximale communicatiebereik kan
verschillen, afhankelijk van obstakels (menselijk lichaam,
metaal, muur, enz.) of elektromagnetische omgeving.
De antenne is ingebouwd in het toestel, zoals wordt
aangeduid met de gestippelde lijn (Afb. ). De gevoeligheid
van de Bluetooth-communicatie wordt verbeterd door de
richting van de ingebouwde antenne te draaien naar het
aangesloten Bluetooth-apparaat. Als er zich tussen de
antenne van het aangesloten apparaat en de interne antenne
van dit toestel obstakels bevinden, kan ruis optreden of het

Informazioni sulla carica dellunit
Lunit pu essere caricata solo utilizzando linterfaccia USB.

Per la carica necessario un personal computer con una
porta USB.
Durante la carica non possibile accendere lunit n
utilizzare la funzionalit BLUETOOTH.
Se non si utilizza lunit per un periodo di tempo prolungato,
la batteria ricaricabile potrebbe non riuscire a mantenere una
carica sufficiente. La batteria manterr una carica adeguata
dopo essere stata scaricata e ricaricata diverse volte.
Se non si utilizza lunit per un periodo di tempo prolungato,
caricare la batteria una volta ogni 6 mesi per evitare che si
scarichi eccessivamente.
Se larco di tempo nel quale si pu utilizzare la batteria si
riduce eccessivamente, necessario sostituire la batteria
ricaricabile con una nuova. Contattare il rivenditore Sony pi
vicino per una sostituzione della batteria.

Precauzioni
Informazioni sulla comunicazione Bluetooth
La tecnologia senza fili Bluetooth funziona entro un raggio

di circa 10m. La distanza massima di comunicazione pu
variare in base alla presenza di ostacoli (persone, elementi
metallici, pareti e cos via) o dellambiente elettromagnetico.
Lantenna integrata nellunit stessa come illustrato nella
linea tratteggiata (Fig. ). La sensibilit della comunicazione
Bluetooth migliora orientando lantenna integrata verso il
dispositivo Bluetooth connesso. Se tra lantenna del
dispositivo connesso e lantenna integrata dellunit sono
presenti degli ostacoli, potrebbero verificarsi disturbi o
Ripristinare lunit (Fig. ).

Premere il pulsante RESET con un oggetto appuntito, ad
esempio una puntina, fino a sentire un clic. Lunit verr
ripristinata. Le informazioni sullassociazione non vengono
eliminate.
Se il problema persiste anche dopo aver reimpostato lunit,
inizializzarla come segue.
Spegnere lunit tenendo premuto il pulsante POWER per
