Assessment Page
Assessment based on observations of a candidates performance on a route graded
at UK 4b, or French 5 on a top rope. Fitting gear and rope work assessed throughout
the assessment day. Students need to demonstrate that they can operate
independently and safely (i.e. fit all technical equipment correctly, belay and tie in
appropriately). This assessment should be supported by a satisfactory log book.
