Verify and check UPS. It must be clear

from unnecesaary items.

Close "Q2" Bypass Isolator Switch.

Close "Q4" Output Isolator Switch.

Ensure that the display screen

initializes and the Amber "Load on
Bypass" LED is flashing + "Manual
Bypass Closed" alarms are present.

Open "Q3" Maintenance Bypass

Switch.

Verify Load Current to the monitoring

screen must not be zero.

Close "Q1" Rectifier Input Isolator.

Note: Closing Q1 will automatically turn on

the INVERTER and the unit will shift to UPS
Mode.

Ensure that after approximately 30

seconds, the Green "Load on Inverter"
LED is lit and the bypass LED has
extinguished.

Close Main Battery Circuit Breaker.

Select "Measurements" in the control

10 panel and verify parameters for Input,
Output and Battery.
11 Unit is now on UPS Mode.

Route notification form to notify the

area owner/Shift Supervisor/Equipment
Owner and manufacturing area
affected.

Verify and check UPS. It must be clear

from unnecesaary items.

Secure UPS Transfer Procedure

checklist upon shifting of UPS from
UPS to Bypass Mode.

Close "Q2" Bypass Isolator Switch.

Make sure that the UPS is in normal

operation (no alarm present).

Close "Q4" Output Isolator Switch.

Verify if "Q2" Bypass Isolator Switch is

still close and the Unit was on normal
operation.

Ensure that the display screen

initializes and the Amber "Load on
Bypass" LED is flashing + "Manual
Bypass Closed" alarms are present.

Press "INV" inverter button in the left

side of the front panel.

Open "Q3" Maintenance Bypass

Switch.

Press "ENTER" and the inverter will

stop / turn off while the load will transfer
to bypass.

Verify Load Current to the monitoring

screen must not be zero.

Press "Alarm Silence Switch" to

cancel the audible alarm.

Close "Q1" Rectifier Input Isolator.

Open "Main Battery Circuit Breaker"

located at the side of the unit.

Battery Circuit Breaker open will be

displayed on the LCD screen panel.

10 Open the "Q1" Rectifier Input Isolator.

Note: Do not open the Output Isolator Q4

otherwise power will be disconnected from
the load. Power to the load will be coming
from the static bypass switch of the UPS.

Check that the UPS was already on

static bypass.

Close "Q3" Maintenance Bypass

Switch.

Veify Load Current to the monitoring

screen must be zero.

14 Open "Q4" Output Isolator Switch.

15 Open "Q2" Static Bypass Switch.

Observe that the LCD screen panel
16 turned OFF including the control
supply.
Note: Failure to follow breaker switching procedure will result to Load
Shutdown and equipment damage.

Note: Closing Q1 will automatically turn on

the INVERTER and the unit will shift to UPS
Mode.

Ensure that after approximately 30

seconds, the Green "Load on Inverter"
LED is lit and the bypass LED has
extinguished.

Close Main Battery Circuit Breaker.

Select "Measurements" in the control

10 panel and verify parameters for Input,
Output and Battery.

11 Unit is now on UPS Mode.

WARNING: Wait 5 minutes for the internal D.C. bus bar capacitors to
discharge.
