Garlock QUICKSET 9001

QUICKSET 9001:
QUICKSET 9001 combines the advantages of 9000 EVSP in a more compact
design. A typical application would be a
control valve that requires an easy installation and minimised contact friction.
The QUICKSET 9001 combines the
Garlock 1303-FEP packing material with
the 9000 EVSPset, two products that are
emission proven. The set exists of 5 rings
only. 2 die formed adapter rings of the
Garlock packing style 1303-FEP cover 3
pure graphite rings. All rings provide a
similar conical shape like the 9000 EVSP.
The varying densities permit a selective
component compression and controlled
radial flow. This results in an effective
sealing on both ID and OD.

Garlock 9000 EVSP

Garlock 9000EVSP is a patented*
valve stem packing system. It was developed for special valve applications
in refineries and petrochemical plants.
The success of this product is proven
through world wide references.

The 9000 EVSP consists of 7 rings in total.

On the top and bottom 2 packing rings
operate as anti-extrusion and wiper rings.
In between there are 5 pure graphite rings,
2 adapter rings covering 3 sealing rings.

Garlock Style 1303-FEP

Style 1303-FEP is manufactured from a proprietary yarn
consisting of several strands of high purity GRAPH-LOCK
contained by an INCONEL filament jacket. This INCONEL
wire filament is only .004 diameter, making the finished
braid non-scoring and thermally conductive.
Style 1303-FEP has been successfully fire-tested to API
589 standards at API 607 temperatures.

The Style 1303-FEP process combines GRAPH-LOCK

flexible graphite with a thermally conductive, non-scoring
INCONEL filament. It is self-lubricating, non-hardening,
dimensionally stable and impervious to gases and fluids.
Style 1303-FEP does not require the use of end rings.
