Rally JUNE 24 th
for Quality Care
and Quality Jobs!

As native Marylanders, we know that healthcare workers truly

are the heart of Baltimore, caring for the sick and vulnerable everyday.

Despite their vital work, many healthcare workers struggle on poverty

wages and cannot afford healthcare for their own children. One in five

Baltimore jobs is in healthcare, so raising standards for healthcare

workers will foster the economic health of our entire city.

Free & Fair Union Elections

Healthcare workers are uniting throughout our city to create better

care for patients, better jobs for our community and a better future for

Baltimore. We’re calling on all hospital and nursing home CEOs to allow

healthcare workers to vote in free and fair union elections. Healthcare

workers should be able to make up their own minds, free of coercion, in

a fair secret ballot vote. When healthcare workers have a voice, we all win.

Ever since I retired, money has been tight. And the older I get, the more medication I take—
that’s tough on my pocket. I’m so glad I found out about Extra Help from Medicare. Now, it’s easier
