SUBJECT: MCDERMOTT MAN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini announces that his office received a call on
Wednesday December 7, 2016 from a residence located on McDermott Pond creek
stating that someone had broken into the house while they were at work stealing a 42 inch
flat screen TV.
Sheriff Marty V. Donini stated that a deputy responded to this location where a report was
taken and forwarded to detectives for a further investigation.
During this investigation detectives were able to identify a possible suspect. On Tuesday
December 13, 2016 detectives were out looking for the suspect while going through the
intersection of Pollock Road and Colley Road they observed the suspect driving and were
able to make a traffic stop that resulted in the suspect being arrested without incident.
Arrested was Albert Meadows Crabtree age 42 of 84 Johnson St. McDermott, Johnson
has been charged with one count of burglary a felony of the 2nd degree and is currently
being held in the Scioto County jail on a $50,000.00 bond and will appear in Portsmouth
Municipal Court on Wednesday December 14,2016.
