1. Mock trial

Writing: Introduce
precise claims,
distinguish claims
from others, and
organize ideas to
establish clear
relationships

We had a mock trial


meaning that there
was one side against
the other side. One
side was the
defendant side
meaning that they
defended the person
being prosecuted.
And the was the
prosecuting side who
were saying why the
person needed to be
punished. I was in the
jury so we were able
to listen to both
arguments and
determine what was
going to happen to
the person.

I can improve my
strengths by first
getting more involved
with the trial because
i felt as if i did not.

we used evidence
from the text to show
whether we agree
that he should have
died or not

Some things that i


could have done
better on is maybe
using better quotes
and try to have a
layout of how i would
wanted things to be
written better.

We came up with a
diagnosis for
montresor as to why
he killed fortunato. In
the group we came
up with psychopathy
and that is what we
had diagnosed him
with because of the
symptoms he was
showing. I was the
leader of the group
so i had to make sure
everyone was on task
and i also had to do

The speeches were


on if we as a country
can come together.
My group was both
yes and no but
mainly no because
there is still a lot of
discrimination/
separation in the
world. Even though
we have come a long
way we still have
quite a bit of work to
do before we can all
be able to come
together as one.
Even though my
group didn't go right
away and we had
some extra time it
was still nerve
racking to do
because of public
speaking.

When talking try to


keep eye contact with
everyone in the room,
not just look at one
side of it. Try to give
more reasons to put
as evidence and not
rely on everyone to
be done before
starting on the
closing. When talking
to a group of people
try to even out voice
so it doesn't sound
like i'm too nervous

we did after we read
a few story/articles

For the essay


somethings i could
have done differently
was instead of going
back and looking for
quotes that i feel will
work, i can write
some down that i
think are significant
even if there may be
no essay or timed
write.

Journals

For the graffiti


journals we would
read to a chapter and
we would determine
what the topic/theme
of the section was.
Then we would draw
the most
important/significant
scene in the section.

Some ways i could

with the journals with
the drawing and the
quotes.
