pitcher and try to hit the softball in their desired zone. If the
batter successfully hits the softball in the zone they chose,
their team will receive 1 point. If the softball lands in the
hula hoop in that zone, they will receive 5 additional points.
After a batter hits the softball, the teams will rotate:
batter goes to catcher, catcher goes to outfield for 2
rotations, outfield goes to pitcher, pitcher goes to batter.
Each student per team will get 3 at bat attempts.
Each team will keep track of their total team points and
compare to the rest of the class at the end of the activity.
Extension down: Pitcher can stand closer to the batter for the pitch
Extension up: If students wants to be challenged, teacher can move
hula hoops further away
Safety:
Students will use a whiffle ball and bat so if the ball were to hit
